We all went down stairs and waited patiently at the door for Alisha to finish praying, me agitated and Lexis and Flynn playing checkers on Lexis' phones.

"Done," Alisha says, walking up to us, a black scarf wrapped around her head.

"Hold on, I'm beating him!" Flynn screams and then, "yes! Haha! Suck on that you loser! You lost, I won! Haha!"

Lexis rolls his eyes and shoves his phone in his pocket. "I let you win," he grumbles.

Flynn laughs and pats his back. "Sure you did, mate."

"Can we get going now?" I ask impatiently. I don't want to go to Vince's house, but I have to. The least they can do is hurry the fuck up and get there so we can leave quicker.

"Yup," Flynn and Lexis both say. Alisha opens the door and we all file out, me and Alisha making our way to the back of Lexis' car.

Once we're all in, Lexis starts the car. "Off to Vince's house we go!" He cheers, and then we're off.

...

"You know, he really isn't that bad," Alisha says to me, now scarf less (she explained on the way that she had to wear it to pray), as we stand in front of Vince's house. "An asshole yes, but not that bad an asshole."

"But an asshole nonetheless," I counter back. "Plus, he has one of those faces that just annoy me for no reason."

She laughs. "Like Flynn's."

"I heard that!" Flynn turns around and glares at Alisha. "I do not have an annoying face."

"You kind of do," I say just as Lexis says, "she's right." and Alisha says, "you most definitely do."

"You're all mean people," Flynn grumbles and turns around, knocking on the door. "I hate you all!"

"Love you too," Alisha says, hugging Flynn from behind and I laugh as Flynn shakes her off. "C'mon Flynnie, you know I'm only joking."

"I don't care."

"Oh, but if you didn't, you wouldn't be angry right now," Alisha points out.

"I'm not angry," Flynn says, putting extra emphasis on 'angry'. "I'm offended."

Just as Alisha is about to say something, the door opens.

"Ali! Flynn! Lexis!" Vince greets - much too loud - and I scoff causing him to notice me. He narrows his eyes. "Why is she here?"

"Because she is," Lexis says, pushing past Vince and into the house.

"She can talk for herself, because she is right here." I turn to Vince. "I don't want to be here, but alas, I am. So make it easier on the both of us and just stay out of my way."

"Gladly," Vince mutters as the rest of us walk into his house and he shuts the door behind us.

"The rest of the boys here?" Lexis asks, and Vince shakes his head, leading us further into the house and into a room with a few couches, empty bottles of beer everywhere and a tv situated right in the middle.

"They're out doing something for Boss," he says, plopping down onto one of the couches. "Long time no see Ali, where've you been?"

Alisha shrugs and takes a seat on a sofa opposite Vince, patting the seat next to her, looking at me expectantly, so I sit down. "Here and there. Looking for jobs that don't involve killing or beating people or selling drugs or working for deranged bosses that get people to do all of the above."

Vince, Lexis and Flynn all laugh. "Good luck with that," Vince says.

"Can I have your phone?" I ask Alisha. I'm bored as hell and need a distraction, so might as well go through her phone.

"Yeah, sure," she says, handing it to me, just as Lexis reaches forward and slaps her hand back. "What the fuck, Lex?"

"Don't give her your phone, idiot," he says. "She could call the police or something."

"She wouldn't do that," she says, turning to me. "Would you?"

"Well, I was just going to use it to play games or some shit, but now Lexis just gave me an idea."

Alisha turns to Lexis. "You're the idiot."

Lexis scoffs and rolls his eyes turning to Flynn and Vince, starting a conversation about a bunch of shit and I groan.

"We could watch some videos?" Alisha suggests. "I've got wifi."

"Sure," I say, having no better option. "What videos?"

Alisha smiles brightly, her eyes lighting up in a way that's sort of creepy and adorable. "Larry videos!"

"Seriously, who the fuck is this Larry person?"

"Larry is not a person but a ship, my dear child. You will soon find out," she says, pressing play on some video. "But I'm not so sure that is a good thing."

And I sigh but move closer to watch the video, because why the heck not? Not knowing that one video would lead to another, which would lead to another and it continues.

...

After the first six videos, I fully believed. We're now on the twenty seventh and I've been holding in tears for a while now.

"That's so beautiful," I choke out as the video ends and Alisha wipes at her eyes, nodding violently.

"It is."

"Their love is so pure. And you say there are 'antis' that do anything possible to shoot down the Larries for believing?" I ask, oblivious to the stares coming from the three idiots in front of us.

Alisha nods.

"It seems like the only reason they hate is because they just don't want their favourites to be with other people, or they're just homophobic," I say, and Alisha nods.

"I've been shipping these two for five years now," she says. "And it's been bloody hell, like, Sam stuck in a cage with Michael and Lucifer hell. You've seen the 'denials' and the hate Larries get. You've seen the numerous beards and fake smiles. I had to go through all of that, and even though it was painful, I don't care. I just can't wait for the day they can be free."

"I wanna watch more," I say, eagerly shaking her arm.

She laughs and shakes her head. "We'll watch them later."

I pout. "Please?"

"Later."

"Flynn," I whine. "Alisha won't let me watch Larry videos!"

"You made her a Larrie?" Flynn asks and both me and Alisha nod. He groans and drags his hand down his face. "That's just great. Another crazy Larrie for me to deal with."

"Crazy we most definitely are," Alisha says and I laugh. And maybe I notice Lexis smiling right at me. And maybe I choose to ignore it but smile a little bigger.
