"Sebastian, wait."

Four heads whipped to the direction of the voice, and Castizel slowly turned his head because of the knife in his neck.

Maria had pushed herself onto her knees, and then Ciel was there to help her up. She stood before them.

With glowing pink eyes.

------------------

Nobody spoke for a long moment. Sebastian watched as Maria walked over to them. She had grown in the past three years, she now looked like the young woman she was. Her hair was longer and still curly, it was now whipping around in the breeze that was suddenly picking up.

She was slightly taller, and skinnier. She seemed more mature, or more somber. And now she was a demon.

As she walked away from Ciel he saw her back. "Maria! Your back..."

Maria turned to face Ciel, and Sebastian, Zeke, Ronan, Samuel, and Castizel saw her back. It was not completely healed yet, if it was at all. Red blood still dropped slowly from the hole. Castizel had been right, her heart was visible, as were the ribs. How was she even standing, let alone walking?

"When I came back as a Fallen it took me a while to transform. That was my body's way of adjusting to my new DNA, if you will. This time, I didn't have time to take a week to recover. I needed to get back her as soon as possible." She turned to back to Castizel. "I had some unfinished business."

She reached the five and looked into Sebastian's eyes for the first time in 3 years.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" He asked her in a low tone. She loved hearing his voice, she had missed it greatly.

"I didn't come back without letting myself heal for nothing." She offered him a small, brief smile. He hesitated a moment before offering up Castizel's wing by stepping away.

"Don't let go of him." She told the Trinity in a serious tone, and she assumed the three were all somewhat shocked because they just nodded.

"Castizel." She greeted the terrified Fallen with a nod and an emotionless face. Castizel tried to say something, but the knife was still through his throat.

Feeling nothing, Maria took hold of the knife and pulled it out. In a few moments Castizel was able to speak a little.

"Maria, love-"

She slammed the knife back down through the back of his neck, unflinching.

"Never call me that again." She hissed, her glowing pink eyes narrowed. She pulled the knife out again.

"You have 5 seconds to tell me why I shouldn't kill you. Five."

"I'm your mate!"

"Four."

"I gave you everything you wanted! I could give you anything!"

"Three."

"I had to do it, Maria! I had to!"

"Two."

"Please!"

"One. Any last words, Castizel?"
