Levi's POV****
Getting home I shot the door and tried to rub the exhaustion out of my eyes.
Needless to say, it didn't work.
"Levi?! Can you come in here for a second?"
Wait... was that...?
"Yeah...? Coming..." I walked slowly into the living room in mass confusion.
"Levi. We want you to join the death eaters." My... father... told me slowly ad if I was two.
"We think that's what's best for you." My... mom... added.
"But you- but you never paid any attention to me!" I screamed at them. There was no way I was going to be able to contain my anger.
"Well that's because-" my mother started but I cut her off,
"No! You can't just ignore anyone like that! It's not fair to them! Do you know how much pain you put me through?! No you don't because you didn't care! I almost starved once you know that?! You guys left to go on a vacation! I was six! SIX! Another time I almost died when I fell down the stairs! I smacked my head against the wall and didn't wake up until two days later! It sucked! It absolutely sucked!" And with that. I left.
I walked out into the cold winter air and half heartedly hoped to bump into Eren again.
What was I going to do? I hardly had any money left to go anywhere. This was a stupid idea, I just needed to get out.
Sticking my hands in the pockets of my black trench coat I blew out a puff of icy air.
I walked around a little longer as the sun went down and it got colder.
The sun was officially gone when I managed to find enough money to get a coffee with double expresso shots.
That should wake me up.
The sun was rising when I slowly started trudging back to my parents house sipping my piping hot coffee (which was heavenly by the way).
Once I got in I threw my coat on the rack and walked towards the stairwell leading up to my room when I was stopped by my parents.
"Levi we're sorry." My mom started.
"We shouldn't have ignored you we just wanted to keep you safe. We realize now we shouldn't have ignored you all those years." My dad states.
Who were they trying to protect me from?
"So for that, we're so sorry." My mother concludes.
"Who we're you trying to protect me from?" I asked then quietly sipping my coffee.
"The world." My mother tells me softly.
They we're trying to protect me... from the world?
Maybe all parents did this...
Yeah that's it. Definitely.
"I forgive you." I stated.
"Thank you! Are you going to join the death eaters! It will be like family time!" My mother clapped excitedly while my dad looked slightly amused.
"O-ok" I stuttered looking at my feet. I wasn't exactly sure how you act in situations like these.
"Yay! The next meeting is tomorrow and we have a very special job for you!" My mom heads off to the kitchen while I tag along feeling loved for the first time in a very long time.
"What are you making?" I asked shyly.
"What do you want?" She retaliated playfully while my father said something about going up to his study.
"Um... I don't know I usually just have a peanut butter sandwich or something..." I explained rubbing the back of my neck akwardly then going to throw out my coffee cup.
"Well what about we have... potatoes, steak and vegetables?" She suggested grabbing a white apron while I sat down on a stool.
"Y- yeah that sounds really good." I complimented, which I wasn't very good at unless, it was Eren. But that was only in my head.
"Thanks!" She chirped.
Maybe my parents weren't so bad after all...
We had supper after two hours of watching my mother cook we all ate talking playfully and it was really nice. After that my dad took me up to my study while my mom cleaned up and showed me how to use some new spells.
Sokn after I went upstairs to try and get some sleep.
~3 am~
I couldn't sleep.
At all.
It wasn't working.
And I was tired as heck.
I rolled over on my side again trying to get comfortable.
It didn't work.
It was strange however because I really had nothing to upset or nervous about and yet my stomach feels like someone looked a thousand buffalo's in it.
I think I'm nervous for the death eaters meeting. They did say they had a special job for me. Me maybe it was really hard and I won't be able to do it? What if I mess up?
Ok Levi. Pull yourself together. You don't have anxiety. That's one thing you don't have.
It's going to be fine. How hard could the job be anyway?
Letting out a breath of air I didn't know I was holding I turned back around and finally fell into a light sleep.
~time skip cuz the auther is lazy and super tired~
The next day I woke up still exhausted but a little less exhausted so progress I guess.
"Hey Levi! Sleep well?" My mother asked as I sat down next to my father and she put bacon and eggs on my plate.
"Thanks" I yawned "and yeah I did." I lied. They didn't need to know about the insomnia, Or OCD.
"Great! Are you excited for the meeting?" She asked sitting down.
"Um yeah." In truth I didn't feel a thing. I never did.
"Yeah? Well I am too! You have a very important job!" My mom was obviously a morning person. My dad looked like he was going to die and me? Well... Yeah you know what happened last night.
We ate and the day went by pretty uneventfully. I read on the couch, my mom made something of some nature and my dad was working on something.
And then came time for the meeting...
