Chapter seventeen

Eren's POV****

Levi slowly began acting normally as winter turned into spring. I never did figure out what was wrong with him.

"Levi!" I shouted and ran down the hall to where Levi was standing reading a book.

"Whatcha reading?" I asked coming to stop next to him.

"Stephan King." He replied just as emotionless as always.

"Hey so herbology is super boring wanna ditch and walk around the grounds with me?" I invited it was originally just going to be me and Armin (he had a free period, there's no way I could get Armin to skip)

He looked confused for a moment as of wondering why I was asking him but he agreed with a nod nonetheless.

Time skip~~~~~

Levi's POV****

"Armin, Levi. Levi, Armin." Eren introduced me to the taller (at least taller then me) blond.

"Hi Levi. I've heard lots about you." Armin told me shaking my hand.

"Really?" I smirked as Eren's face heated up.

"Oh yeah like how- mmphh" Eren clamped a hand over Armin's mouth successfully shutting Armin up.

"So do you guys want to walk around the forest?" Eren suggested his hand still over Armin's mouth who was looking seriously annoyed.

Armin then rolled his eyes and a second later Eren let out a yelp,

"Dude! Did you just bote my hand?!" He clutched his hand.

"It's not my fault you decided to slam your hand over my mouth ." Armin smirked, amused. With that we slowly walked into the woods the conversation drifting light heartedly.

After what had happened over then last few months it was nice to have just a normal conversation.

"So what are you going to do over summer break, Levi?" Armin asked unknowingly bring memories to the surface of my mind.

What was I going to do over summer break?

I couldn't go back.

There was no way I was ever going back.

"I don't know yet." I answered him as Eren's face lit up looking as if he had gotten an idea.

"You can stay at my house! I'm sure my mom won't mind!" He told me "and Armin lives down the street!" He smiled excitedly.

"Are you sure?" I asked looking at my feet. This was another situation that I had no idea how to act or what to say.

"Of course! My mom loves you!" He laughed.

"...Ok then." I agreed reluctantly.

"Yes!" Eren smiled widely.

We walked back out of the forest a little while after that and went to our designated classes.

Eren's POV****

Levi is staying at my house.

MY HOUSE

What if it's not clean enough??

I should probably let my mom know.

After classes.

Time skip****

After classes I sat down at Armin's desk and started writing a letter to my mother.

Hey Mom.

Sorry I don't write to you often it's just classes and lots of stuff is going on lately.

Also I kinda maybe... even writing this letter I'm nervous about telling you so don't be mad. I'm pretty sure you won't be but there's always that 10% of un-sureity.

So I invited Levi over for summer break...

All of it.

I'm sorry!

It's just I'm pretty sure that he's upset about something and he won't tell me what.

So yeah if you don't mind could you clean the house? A few thousand times? Levi has major OCD.

I finished the letter and tied it to my owls (Shifter, I know weird name but it suits her) Foot.

She flew away carrying the letter to my house.

With that I quickly did my homework wanting to get some sleep.

Levi's POV****

"Ugh!! I hate having insomnia!" I groaned rubbing my eyes forcibly, trying to magic sleep into them.

It was... wait let me check... 5am currently and I'm super tired except I can't sleep! Of freakin course!

Brat waking up upon hearing my voice, yawned and jumped up onto my bed. Purring as I rubbed her head.

"Do you know how lucky you are brat?" I asked the cat knowing I'd get no reply.

"You don't have to worry about anything. Not crushes, Not accidently falling in love with your only friend, Not classes not anything! And on top of all that you can sleep and fall asleep whenever you want!

Ugh! Why aren't I a cat?? Life would be so much easier if I was a cat!"

Are Erwin's eyebrows even real?
