Natasha had recovered under Clint's love and care, and they both spent the following week's afternoons being busy with each of their own activities. Natasha had rehearsals for the play while Clint had archery training.

Then it was the arrival of the weekends again.

Clint had specially asked Maria, Jane, Darcy, Pepper and Laura to take Natasha out shopping that Sunday while he planned for a special surprise.

"Where shall we head to first, Natasha?" Pepper asked excitedly.

"Let's go to that book store over there." Natasha pointed and they all went to browse through some books, much to Jane's delight. Natasha actually wasn't very interested, but she chose to go there because she knew Jane would be too shy to suggest.

Back at Natasha's house, Clint was speaking to Jerome and Rosa. Both he and Natasha had unfortunately missed the school dance the year before that he had promised to take her to, so he wanted to make up for it.

"I'm planning a surprise date for Natasha tonight and I hope both of you can help me." Clint asked hopefully, clasping his hands together.

"Of course we'll help! Anything for you and Ms Natasha. Just tell us what you need." Jerome replied enthusiastically.

Clint nodded at them gratefully, grinning from ear to ear.

"I hope to be able to cook her a decent meal, so could you teach me, Rosa?"

"It'll be my pleasure."

"And I also hope to decorate the balcony to create a romantic setting, so could you drive me to the store to purchase some items as well as the ingredients for the dinner, Jerome?"

"Of course, shall we head off now, Mr Barton?"

"Just call me Clint! And yes, we can head to the store now." Clint chuckled, and followed Jerome to the car.

They first stopped by Typo, and Clint purchased a box of colourful paper lanterns. Then they visited a party store to purchase fairy lights.

"I'm quite curious and excited to know what you'll do with these decorations... Clint." Jerome smiled, still a little not used to addressing Clint by his name, but nevertheless liked how the name rolled off his tongue.

"It'll be perfect. Natasha will love it." Clint grinned.

They then headed to the supermarket to pick out the best pieces of beef and some other ingredients, including a bottle of sparkling soda since they were kind of too young to drink alcohol.

As they walked out of the supermarket and decided to head home, they passed by a boutique, and a gorgeous black dress caught Clint's eye. He ended up buying it for Natasha, and couldn't wait to see her wear it that night.

Upon reaching Natasha's house, Clint brought the decorations up to the second-storey balcony and started to coil the fairy lights around the railings, and plugging it into the power point at the corner beside the sliding door. He then started to hang the small pastel-coloured lanterns amongst the fairy lights. He stepped back and looked in awe and satisfaction at his creation.

Then Rosa guided him in the kitchen where he learnt to cook up some steak.

"Clint, Natasha's getting bored. How much more time do you need?" Maria called Clint secretly.

Clint was currently busy preparing the meal. He had an apron messily tied around his waist and his hands were busy marinating the steak.

Clint took a look at his watch, then around the kitchen to have a rough idea of  his progress. He then shifted his phone that was resting between his shoulder and ear before answering.
