Today Clint and Natasha got their  salary from working the first month at the pizza place. It was Natasha's first salary from her first job and she was overjoyed. She handed her cheque to Clint and he stared astounded at her.

"It's for you."

"I can't take your money, Sweetheart. You earned it." He gently grasped her hand and pushed the cheque back to her.

"You know I don't need the money. I only work to be with you." Natasha smiled and eased the cheque back into Clint's hand.

"Thank you." He grinned and pecked her on the lips.

It was the day of the Sleeping Beauty play.

Clint headed to the florist after school to purchase a bouquet of red roses that he was going to give Natasha after her performance.

With the bouquet in hand, he entered the auditorium with the rest of the gang who had come to support Natasha, Bucky and Pepper.

Tony sat beside Clint and stared wide-eyed at the bouquet before looking guilty. He had come empty handed.

"Eh, could I borrow one rose from your bouquet to give to Pepper?" He said a little embarrassed.

Clint chuckled and nodded, handing him a stalk.

"You don't have to return it." Clint laughed, as Tony had said he wanted to 'borrow' a rose.

They sat staring at the red curtain for a few minutes before the lights dimmed and the curtains pulled open to reveal a scene of a castle.

It was the day the princess was born and Pepper appeared in a coral pink fluffy dress with a wand in her hand, saying, "Little princess, my gift blessed unto you shall be the gift of beauty."

Tony clapped and received stares and glares from the people around and he shrunk in his seat in embarrassment.

The next scene was set in the forest on the princess's sixteenth birthday, where she had been living as a peasant to escape from Maleficent.

Natasha stepped onto the stage dressed in a simple brown dress with a black hairband on, surrounded by forest animals and picking berries while singing.

She talks to the animals about the dream she had meeting the love of her life.

"Oh, he's a prince. Well, he's tall and handsome and ... and so romantic. Oh we walked together, and talked together, and just before we say goodbye, he takes me in his arms, and then ... I wake up."

Clint couldn't help but smile at his sweetheart singing and twirling around the stage.

Natasha continues singing.

This time Bucky entered the stage with Natasha's back facing him and joined in the singing.

The way you did

Natasha stops singing and turns around while Bucky continued the last line, looking dreamily at her.

Once upon a dream...

Clint wasn't sure why, but he got a little uncomfortable when Bucky went up the stage and shared the spotlight with Natasha. They're just acting, he told himself.
