Clint woke up with a lock of red hair in his face. He gently pushed it away and tucked a stray lock behind Natasha's ear.
Natasha stirred a little and Clint decided to do something naughty.
He took the furry ear of the giant stuffed rabbit and tickled her nose with it. She wrinkled her nose and groaned. He silently laughed and continued doing it, until she sneezed.
Opening her eyes, Natasha came face to face with Clint's laughing face.
"Rise and shine, Sweetheart."
She sneered at him before lightly punching him in the chest and sitting up on the bed.
Clint followed suit and wrapped his arms around her, offering an apologetic smile, to which she kissed.
Then as if something clicked in her head, Natasha looked around the room at the mess of stuffed toys, seemingly searching for something.
She then got up and ransacked through the piles of toys.
"What are you looking for, Nat?"
"Jer Bear."
"What?"
"It's the bear you gave me."
Then Clint moved to help Natasha search and found that he had been sitting, or rather sleeping on Jer Bear all the while.
"Hey, is this the one?"
Natasha turned from where she had been searching and squealed, before running to the bed.
She hugged him tight and exploded in smiles.
"I guess I had been sleeping on him all this while." Clint scratched his neck.
Natasha hugged Jer Bear protectively before frowning at Clint.
"I shouldn't have given you that bear, he has become my love rival now." Clint joked, causing Natasha to smile.
"What's with the name anyway?"
"Jeremy. In short I call him Jer Bear. He reminds me of you."
"Why not name him after me then?"
"No one can replace you." Natasha bit her lip.
Clint grinned, his heart ballooning with gladness at what Natasha had said.
So Clint pulled Natasha into his arms and gave her the tightest and warmest hug ever.
He then spotted a vase of roses which he hadn't noticed before on a chest of drawers. A small white card was placed next to it.
Natasha followed his eyes to the roses.
"Those are the ones you gave me." Natasha smiled warmly.
"There's a catch to them."
"What?"
"I'll stop loving you when the last rose dies."
Natasha stared at him dumbfounded and worry creased her face.
He stroked her cheek and smirked.
"Don't worry, you'll know when the time comes." Clint was being secretive and Natasha was bursting with curiosity.

Later that day, Clint and Natasha strolled along the street and came across a pet store.
Natasha stopped and stared through the shop window at a little puppy that was clawing at the glass and looking at her.
She tugged Clint's hand and beckoned him to look.
It was an adorable golden retriever puppy with eyes that sparkled with innocence and friendliness.
Natasha aligned her fingers with the puppy's paws on the glass and he wagged his tail at her and stuck out his tongue. Natasha and Clint smiled.
"Should we get him?" Natasha asked.
"He seems to like us a lot, so I say yes."
A while later, they exited the shop with the puppy in Natasha's arms.
"What should we name him?" Natasha asked as she stroked the fur on his back.
"Hmm... How about Lucky?"
"Sounds great, but why?"
"Because he's lucky to have met an angel like you." Clint gave her a look and smirk. Natasha wrinkled her nose at him and grinned before Clint swooped down to peck her on the lips.
Lucky yapped as if in approval of the name and Clint scratched his head, to which Lucky thoroughly enjoyed.
The two spent the day back at Natasha's house playing with Lucky. He pounced onto them from time to time and licked their faces.
Natasha and Clint were glad to have this bundle of joy in their lives.
