Getting rid of the book

Lily's P.O.V

Today, I'm getting rid of the book. It's been making me feel weaker every time I share a secret, so I'm getting rid of it. I go to Moaning Myrtle's bathroom, since I've talked to her a lot. I throw the book and it accidentally hits Myrtle. "Oh, I'm so sorry Myrtle. I didn't mean to-" "Oh, don't be silly! I know it was on purpose!" I sigh. "Myrtle, why would I hit you? Your my friend!" "Yeah, great friend. You threw the book at me!" I was mad. "Fine! I'll just leave!" I stormed out of the bathroom. I went back to my common room and say across from Ron, Harry and Hermione. Ginny was sitting next to me. "Where were you?" Harry asked. I felt great knowing that Harry was worried about me. "I was just getting rid of something." "Of what?" "I don't want to tell you." Harry just gave me an understanding nod. I felt happy he didn't insist on it.

Harry's P.O.V

Lily's acting strange. She left the common room with a book and came back without it. I think she got rid of it, but I won't insist on an answer. It was getting late, and Hermione, Ron and I should get some sleep. We're planning to find out who the heir of Slytherin is.

Ron and I go to our dormitory. I wonder if I should try to get that book and see why she got rid of it. I have this urge to tell lily my feelings for her, but I don't know if she loves me back. I think I'll tell her tomorrow.

Lily's P.O.V

The next day, I wake up with the urge to confess my feelings towards Harry to him. I think he should know. I waited in the common room for Harry to come down from the boys' dormitory. When he finally comes down, I approach him, since he came down alone. "Harry, I need to tell you something." Harry smiled. "I need to tell you something too." I sigh before I tell him. "The truth is......... I........" "You what?" "I love you." Harry seemed to smile. "That's exactly what I wanted to tell you." I smile and hug him. He picks me up and spins around with me as I laugh happily. Hermione and Ron saw this and Hermione said "Good morning, love birds!" I pull away and blush as Harry puts his arm around my shoulders. This morning was perfect.
