My Loneliness

Harry's P.O.V

I don't want to leave Lily. As my heart shattered in a million pieces, I walked into the bathroom quickly to clean my tears. I looked at myself in the mirror and saw how emotional I looked. After cleaning my tears, I sadly headed to Dumbledore's office. He took me with him and explained to me that we had to find the necklace that has been passed down Salazar Slytherin's family, which is a horcrux, and bring it back so we can destroy it. When we arrived at our destination, I could tell it was afternoon, and we entered a cave in which this necklace is supposed to be. It's dark, and there are a lot of Inferi. For those of you who don't know what that is, it's a creature that dwells in the dark and is weak in the light. They can kill people because they live in water and drag their victims in. Dumbledore found a boat, and we crossed to the other side of the little lake. We found a huge fountain that had a potion with something all the way at the bottom. Dumbledore said "it's a potion that will make terrible things happen to me. I have to drink it, and don't stop giving me it, no matter what I say." I nodded, hesitated and served him the first goblet. This is going to be tough.

Lily's P.O.V

Harry's only been gone for a few hours, and I'm a sobbing mess. Hermione's trying to help me calm down, but I just can't. I touch the symbol on my necklace, and the memory of when he gave me this necklace floods in my brain. I very slowly am calming down, and then I just go down and eat. I have to keep my mind off of this for now. I keep trying but I can't forget that Harry's not here. I start heading upstairs when I see a bunch of death eaters flood into the school. I gasp and try to run up to the common room, but I am by a spell. I fall to the ground and roll around in pain. They're using crucio on me. One says "Lily Weasley, Potter's girlfriend. Where's your boyfriend? Is your savior gone?" I keep writhing in pain, and they stop after a few more seconds. I take deep breaths, and then they pull me up viciously. They look at me in the eyes and laugh. "Potter's not coming back for you." "You're wrong," I say. They ask me for information on where Harry is, and I say "I won't tell you." He throws me in the ground again and says "wrong answer." I see students run around and spells being shot. Both death eaters are using crucio on me, and my vision slowly fades. Where are you, Harry? I need you.

Harry's P.O.V

The fountain's almost empty, but it's getting harder to make Dumbledore drink the potion. After a few more minutes of struggling, we finish and I grab the horcrux. Dumbledore and I apparate out of the cave, and we arrive at Hogsmeade. I see the castle in the distance, and I see spells being shot. I run to the castle with Dumbledore, after he regained consciousness. We climbed up the bell tower, and I hid while he went out and talked to the death eaters. Draco was there, and he said "I have to do this. I have to kill you, or he'll kill me." I was going to shoot a spell at Draco, but then I saw Snape. I wanted to say something, but he signaled for me to be quiet. He went up, and Dumbledore said "Severus, please." Snake then said "Avada Kedavra," and Dumbledore fell off of the bell tower. Bellatrix was there too, and she put Voldemort's mark in the sky. I ran down to find Dumbledore dead. All the students gathered around, and they lifted their wands. I lifted mine too, and all the light coming from them destroyed the mark in the sky. I ran to find Ron and Hermione, and asked them "where's Lily?" Hermione sadly said "Harry, I don't know where she is. She went down to eat and never came back." I began to feel anger rush in my veins. My eyes watered, and I ran away to find Lily. I saw her lying on the floor, unconscious. I pick her up and brought her to the hospital wing. I saw Madame Pomfrey and said "Madame Pomfrey, please, help me to wake her up. Tell me she's not dead." She nodded and quickly told me where to place her down. She began to check her and said "she might not have any memory of what happened to her, as a cause of her torture with crucio. When she wakes up, tell her what happened." She began to walk away, and I asked with a shaky voice "will she wake up?" She gave me a loon of sympathy, and said "she should wake up in no more than 3 days, and no less than an hour." I nodded and held her hand. I kissed her and whispered "please wake up..... I love you so much...."

Lily's P.O.V

All I see is darkness. I felt someone pick me up, and I knew it was Harry because sparks were sent all throughout my body. I heard Harry's voice and Madame Pomfrey's voice. Harry set me down and asked with a shaky voice "will she wake up?" Madame Pomfrey assured him I would wake up, and then I felt Harry kiss me. I wanted to kiss back, but I couldn't. He whispered "please wake up..... I love you so much...." aww man. I have to wake up, for Harry. After what seemed like forever, my eyes slowly open, and I see Harry there, crying quietly. Harry looks up at me and smiles like if he's gotten the greatest gift. He kisses me, pulls away, and says "I was so worried!" I smile and say "I missed you." Harry said " I missed you too." Madame Pomfrey checked me and said I was ready to leave, and Harry helped me up. I felt like if I let go of Harry, I would fall, so I held on, and he helped me walk. He brought me to the common room, and then I asked "so what happened to me?" Harry sighed, and said "you were tortured with the cruciatus curse." I gasped and hugged him. He hugged me back tightly, and I asked "did your heart break when you found me?" He nodded his head, and then we pulled away. Everyone in the common room walked up to me, and I just wanted to be with Harry, Ron, Hermione, and my family. Ginny saw me and shouted "EVERYONE AWAY! She only wants to be with her family and friends!" Everyone backed away, and I was left with the people I wanted to be with. Hermione hugged me and said "I was afraid I wouldn't see you again!" I hugged her back and then hugged everyone else. After a while, Hermione said "let's leave them two alone." They walked away with smiles on their faces. I looked at Harry, and he said "Dumbledore's dead." I gasped and felt my eyes tear up. "How?" Harry sighed, and explained "well, he had to drink a potion to get the horcrux, and it made him really weak. We got to the castle, and Snape used te killing curse." A tear fell down my cheek. Will be safe again?
