A Summer Beginning Without Harry

Lily's P.O.V

It's summer now, and while my brothers and my twin are happy thome, I feel like I'm missing a part of me. I'm missing Harry. I wish I could be with him right now, because I'm sure his aunt and uncle will treat him poorly because I'm not there. They love me, but I can't help and wonder what they treat Harry like when I'm not around. It's been a few weeks since we came, and now we've gone to the Order of the Phoenix Headquarters. I'm not allowed to tell Harry anything, and I've begged and begged so I could write to Harry. Hermione's even told me "no, you can't write to him. I know you can't resist not talking to Harry, but you have to." I was crying. "But it's so hard," I answered, sobbing. Hermione still wouldn't let me, and I had begun to feel sad every day. One miraculous day, my parents allowed me to write to Harry. I was so happy, and since I knew I may not have another chance soon, I made this letter long so Harry would have something to remember me still this summer, at least until we picked him up. I took a quill and a huge sheet of parchment. I then took some ink, and began writing:

Dear Harry,

I'm sorry I haven't written to you. No one has let me write to you, and I'm not allowed to say why. Soon, we'll be joined together again. I miss you so much, I've even begun to feel sad every day, and my dreams at night are when you and I will see each other again. I hope your ok. I know you're living with the guilt that I got hurt last school year because of you, but it's not because of that. I got hurt because I love you, and I wanted to protect you. I'm fine now, and I just wanted you to know. This letter is very long, I know. I made it long because I don't know when I'll be allowed to write to you again, and I wanted to leave you a letter that you could read and remember me. I hope you don't forget me. Just know that I wanna see you again. I hope you're ok, and we'll see each other soon. Just don't give up on me, please. And always remember..... I love you with all my heart and my soul.

Harry's P.O.V

It's been weeks since we came back for summer, and I haven't heard anything from Hermione or Ron. I haven't even heard anything from Lily. I thought she would write to me, but I've got nothing. Since she's not here, my aunt and uncle have treated me the way they used to, and I hate it. I've spent these past weeks living my usual lonely life. One day, I heard a tap on my window. I looked over, and it was Lily's owl. A smile appeared on my face, and I took the letter that was in her beak (picture of Lily's owl at the top). I looked at the envelope, and it said: to my true love. I smiled again. I opened her letter and read it. It said:

Dear Harry,
