Becoming close friends

Lily's P.O.V

After that eventful morning, you get to your first class. You feel sad that you have DADA with the Slytherins, but smile when you know you'll see Harry.
Harry and you have become very close friends now. After DADA Harry walks up to you and covers your eyes without you seeing who it is. "Who is it?" You giggle madly "Harry!!" You answer after he uncovered your eyes and give him a hug that almost knocks him down. "Well, well, well. Potter's got a girlfriend!" Oh no! It's Malfoy..... That git. You start to want to cry, but Harry gives you a hug as you cry on his shoulder. "Shut up, Malfoy. If I hear you talking to her like that again, you'll get it!" Harry started yelling now. As Draco leaves, Harry asks "You ok?" You answer "I guess," as you pull away. Harry holds you in front of him as you wipe your last years away. "Lily, don't EVER let anyone hurt you. When Draco did that, I wanted to punch him in the face. So please, don't let ANYONE EVER talk to you like that." You look into his Dazzling green eyes and respond "I won't."

Harry's P.O.V

I can't believe Draco made her cry! He's gonna pay. Anyway, I left Lily and went with Ron and Hermione to drink the Polyjuice Potion for our plan. It tasted horrible! I looked in the mirror and saw Goyle standing where I was. It worked! Ron came out of the stall and looked like Crabbe, and Hermione didn't come out. "You guys go ahead. I'll stay here." She says nervously. "Um, ok?" I answer. We start to make our way to the Slytherin common room, and see Draco on the couch. We sit down and start to talk to him to see if we can get anything out of him.

Lily's P.O.V

One other girl in my year told me I could go in the boys' dormitory, so I'm getting the book back. The thing is, I don't know where it is or where Harry's things are. Oh well, I'll just search everyone's things until I found it. Surprisingly, no one was in there. I quickly got to work and found it in about 2 minutes. Yes!!

Once I recovered it, I quickly went to my dormitory and kept writing my secrets in it. I felt so weak, the last thing I remember was writing on the walls with blood again.

I felt very weak, and before I fell into a deep sleep, I saw some boy. I don't k ow who he is though. Oh no!! Where am I?

Harry's P.O.V

We're back to find out that Hermione had actually found a cat hair! She went off to the hospital wing and we went back to the common room. I couldn't find Lily anywhere! I was getting worried. "Ginny! Where's Lily?" I ask hopelessly for an answer. "I don't know! I've been looking for her too!" This can't be good. "Ron, come with me to look for Lily!" We roam the school and found another wall written on.

"Who has been taken into the chamber?" Asks Dumbledore. "Lily Weasley." I swear I almost fainted. What?!?! Ron almost fainted too. "We have to get Lockhart!" I say. We run to his office and see him packing. "You're a fraud!" I say. "You're coming with us somewhere to get my sister back!" Ron says. We've lost Hermione, Justin, Colin, and now Lily?!?!? When we open the chamber, we have Lockhart jump down first. Then I go, followed by Ron. We get to the bottom and I say "Remember, any sign of movement, close your eyes." After all, direct eye contact with the basilisk will kill you. We keep going until Lockhart tries to do a memory charm on Ron but gets it cast on himself. I'm separated from Ron and Lockhart by a wall of rock that fell from Lockhart's failed charm. "Lockhart's memory charm backfired!" "You stay here, I'll go find Lily!" I shout through the rocks. Oh, Lily! Why her? I wish it were me! I venture through and come across a huge room. I look on the floor to see Lily laying there, pale as ever. "Lily! Please wake up! Wake up!" I try to call her. "I love you," I whisper.

Lily's P.O.V

What's happening! Even though I can't see, I can still feel and hear. I feel sparks on my hand. Harry! Where are we? "Lily, wake up! Wake up!" I hear Harry desperately call. "I love you," I hear someone whisper. Harry..... He loves me..... He really does!

Harry's P.O.V

This teenage boy approaches me and says "She doesn't have much time. In a few minutes Lord Voldemort will return, very much alive." I take a little time to examine his features. "You're Tom Riddle." "Yes I am. Now I will call the basilisk to come and kill you, Harry Potter." A giant snake comes and I try running away. I turn around to see Fawkes and the Sorting Hat. Fawkes pokes his beak at the basilisk's eyes, so now it can't see. I keep running and run into a dead end. Dang it!! Think Harry, quick! I pick up a rock quietly and throw it at a wall. The basilisk goes away. I run back to Lily and see her paler than before. Oh, Lily.....

Lily's P.O.V

I feel sparks once again. Harry's back! I feel really weak. I hear someone's screaming. What's going on?

Harry's P.O.V

I'm destroying Tom Riddle's diary. He's Voldemort! Once I'm done, Lily awakes. Yes! Her beautiful eyes are open again, and she's no longer pale.

Lily's P.O.V

I finally open my eyes! Oh no! Harry's here! What happened to his arm? "Harry, it was me. I wrote on the walls. He made me!" Harry smiles. "It's ok! I don't hate you." "What's happened to your arm?" I look at Harry's arm and feel tears forming in my eyes. "The basilisk injected venom into my arm. But don't worry about me. You need to get out of here. Ron and Lockhart are that way, you can leave." "I don't wanna leave!" I say as tears roll down my face. Fawkes comes and drops some tears on Harry's arm and it starts to heal. Once Harry's arm is healed, he takes me to Ron and Lockhart. "Ron!" I run and hug him. "I thought I would never see you again!" Ron hugs me back. "I missed you too." We head back up. I grab on to Harry as tightly as I can.

Harry's P.O.V

Lily is holding on to me really tightly, it doesn't hurt though. When we get back up and in the Great Hall, we see Hermione is unpetrified!! She runs and hugs Lily, then me, than shakes hands with Ron. This has been a great year. On the train ride, I take Lily's hand and drag her to a separate compartment. "Lily, I can't live without you. Will you be my girlfriend and spend the summer with me?"

Lily's P.O.V

Oh my goodness! Harry asked me to be his girlfriend! "Of course I will Harry!" He picks me up, hugs me, and spins around. We both start giggling and I kiss his cheek. "I've been holding that in for a while now." I smile. Harry and I hold hand and never let go. "Well, what's up with you two lovebirds?" Asks Hermione. "We're dating now!" "That's great!" Hermione answers. "Wait, what?!?!" "Oh relax Ron. I can take care of myself. I'm spending the summer with Harry, too." "Bloody hell!" Ron looked like he was gonna throw up. " oh, relax Ronald!"

Harry's P.O.V

When we get to the station, Lily runs to her mum and dad. "Mum! I have a boyfriend now!" She makes me smile.

Lily's P.O.V

I told my mum I have a boyfriend. "Who is it Lily? Let me see him!" Since Harry was standing next to me, I kissed his cheek. "Lily, are you serious?!?!? You're dating Harry Potter?!??" "Yeah, mum! And can I spend the summer with him? Pleeeeaaaasssee?" "Oh, sure dear! Take very good care of her, Harry, dear!" "I will, Mrs. Weasley."
