Lost in Love (A Harry Potter Love Story)

The First Task

Lily's P.O.V

It's been a few days, and now it was the first task. Harry and I found out it was dragons thanks to Ron, and now I'm completely terrified. Harry and I got ready, and we headed towards the first task. Before we entered the tent, I stopped Harry and said "be careful out there." I had a tear going down my face. Harry wiped it, and said "don't worry, just do what you can. Use your new powers against it." I smiled and then we went in the tent. We were all gathered in a circle, and Barty Crouch pulled out a bag. "Inside of this bag are smaller versions of real life dragons." I felt myself going a bit pale. We each picked out a dragon from the bag. Fleur went, then Victor Krum went, then Cedric went, and then I went. I put my hand in carefully. I felt a bite at the tip of my finger. I flinched, and pulled out my hand. "The Norwegian Ridgback," said Barty. Harry then went, and I was worried. Harry and I saw what these dragons were, and the only one left was...... The Hungarian Horntail. "Alright, you all will have your turns, starting with Cedric, then Victor, then Fleur, than Lily, and then Harry," said Dumbledore. The cannon sounded, and Cedric got ready. He then took his turn.... Then Victor...... Then Fleur. During Fleur's turn, I ran to Harry, and hugged him tightly. I pulled away, and then they called for me. "Be careful out there," said Harry. I kissed him, and then went of to fight the dragon. I left the comfort of the tent, and then I saw the dragon. It shot fire at me, and I quickly used my water power to extinguish his flames. Now, only smoke came out of his mouth. This was easier than I what I expected. I ran to another spot, shot dirt in its eyes to blind it, and then I made a quick run for the egg. The dragon was about to step on me, but I used my wind power to push it far away from me. I got the egg in 10 seconds!! I was so happy. Maybe this wouldn't be so hard. I went to sit with Hermione so I could watch Harry. It hurt me to see him thrown across the arena. "Accio Firebolt!" Yelled Harry. He jumped on his Firebolt, and then flew off. The dragon followed behind, and then I got scared because the dragon's chain had broken. After what seemed like hours, Harry came flying back, and got the egg. My eyes had tears of joy that Harry was fine for the most part. I ran down and when I saw him, I tackled him in a huge hug. "You did it!" I yelled happily. Harry spun me around and then kissed me. We heard cheers behind us, and then we pulled away. Harry was then carried up to the Gryffindor common room, and people said "open it!" Harry then teased and said "you want me to open it?" Everyone replied "yeah!" Harry opened it, and the worst sound ever came out. He quickly closed it, and Ron said "what the bloody hell was that?"

Harry's P.O.V

I just opened the egg, and a terrible noise came out. I wonder what that was all about. After a few minutes of celebration, the common room had cleared, and now only Hermione, Ron, Lily, and I remained. "I'm so proud of you," said Lily. "I'm so proud of you too," I answered. "Awww. You two are a pair of lovebirds," said Hermione. "So are you and Ron," said Lily giggling. They went red, and Lily and I just laughed. Lily rested her head on my lap with the rest of her body on the couch. "I'm tired. Fighting a dragon is exhausting," said Lily. "No kidding," I answered. Lily then sat up and rested her head on my shoulder. I put my arm around her, and Hermione said "I bet you two are the hottest couple at Hogwarts." Lily blushed, and I kissed the top of her head. After a few more minutes of talking, Ron went up to bed, and then Lily and Hermione went, so I went up too.

Lily's P.O.V

As I got ready for bed, Hermione became serious and asked "you really love Harry, don't you?" I sighed and answered "yes." Hermione smiled, and then we went to bed. I hope Harry will be fine during this tournament. Let's see what happens tomorrow.
