Lily's P.O.V

After an embarrassing morning, the four of us headed down to Hagrid's Hut for our Care of Magical Creatures lesson. When we got there, we saw that we had this class with the Slytherins. Malfoy starts to insult us, but then I step up and protect the other three. "Shut your face, Malfoy!" I respond. He saw me holding hands with Harry and said "well, Potter's found himself a girlfriend!" I was mad. "Yes, he did. Not like someone I know that probably won't get a girlfriend," I say. "Who is this person?" Draco asks. "I thought it was obvious. It's you," I say. Everyone oohs and I feel Harry clench his other hand in a fist, but I squeeze his hand to tell him not to punch him. "Now that yer all here, I've got a treat fer yer today!" says Hagrid. We all follow him into the Forbidden Forest with our Monster Book of Monsters. When we get there, Draco decides to pick on Harry this time. "Wait till my father hears they've got this oaf teaching classes," says Draco. "Shut up, Malfoy," says Harry as he approaches Draco. "Oooh!" all the Slytherins say. Draco then gets this face of fear. He points behind Harry and says "DEMENTOR DEMENTOR!" All of us gasp and look back to see nothing. I turn around to see Draco and the Slytherins laughing their heads off. I launched myself for Draco, but Harry held me back. I tried to get out of his grip, and then Ron came to help. All of a sudden, Hermione comes out of nowhere and also tries to help them. I finally stop struggling, and Harry holds my hand tightly so I won't launch myself at Draco. After this, Hagrid comes and says "Alrigh' ev'ryone! Open yer books n' open 'em up ter page 49," says Hagrid. "How are we supposed to open these books?" asks Malfoy. "Why, you stroke the spine! Didn't they tell you that?" asks Hagrid. "No, they didn't," I say. Harry was still holding my hand. Hagrid then showed us this creature that seemed half horse and have eagle. "May I introduce to you, Buckbeak the Hippogriff." Everyone stared in utter surprise. "I need two volunteers please," said Hagrid. Everyone backed up until only Harry and I were left holding hands. "Harry! Lily! Ok both of you slowly approach him, bow, and DON'T break eye contact." I was still holding Harry's hand. Harry let go of my hand, and we both bowed. Buckbeak then returned the bow, and the whole class clapped. "Great job!" said Hagrid. "Now, approach him slowly," said Hagrid. We both approached and it looked like Buckbeak was going to attack us. "Stay back, stay back!" said Hagrid. Harry step on a twig, which made my hand jump into his. He smiled, but separated our hands. Buckbeak then aproached us and we both got to pet him. "Great job! I think he might even let both of you ride him," said Hagrid. "Wait what?" I ask. "Hey hey hey!" says Harry. It was too late. Hagrid had put us both on Buckbeak's back. "Don't pull any of his feathers! He sure won't like that," said Hagrid. I wrapped my arms around Harry's waist so I wouldn't fall, and Buckbeak began to rise.

Harry's P.O.V

Lily wrapped her arms around my waist so she wouldn't fall, and we began to fly. We flew to Hogwarts and rode around peacefully. "You know what?" said Lily. "What?" I ask. "I love you," says Lily. "I love you too," I say. We flew to the lake, and I decided to let go and stretch my arms out. "Woohoo!" I said. Lily was giggling, and I could tell she was really happy. I didn't want this moment to end. Everything about being with Lily felt right, and I turned around to look at her. Lily leaned in closer, and we both kissed. Sparks shot through my body, and I'm sure the same happened to Lily. We stayed like this for the rest of the ride until I heard a whistle, so we stopped since Buckbeak was about to go on the ground. When we landed, everyone started to clap and cheer. I got off first, then offered to help Lily off. She jumped off and I caught her. I put her down, and we went to Ron and Hermione. "You guys did great!" said Hermione.

Lily's P.O.V

"You guys did great!" says Hermione. "Thanks," I say. I try not to give a sign that Harry and I had just shared a moment. Malfoy began to walk up to Buckbeak without bowing. "Not so scary, are you? Let's see how easy this is you bloody bird!" Buckbeak went up to Draco and scratched his arm. He landed on the floor and said "It's killing me! It's killing me!" I did a face palm. "Hagrid! He needs to go to the Hospital Wing," said Hermione. "Righ', I'll take 'em," said Hagrid. "Come on, let's head to DADA," says Ron. The four of us walk and laugh as we talk about some things. "I wonder what we will be doing for our DADA class," I say. "Me too," says Harry. "Well, you agree with everything Lily says, Harry," said Ron. I playfully punch him and say "Wow, what a brother I have!" "What do you mean?" "You're teasing me about my love life! Can you stop?" "No," said Ron. "He just doesn't want Hermione to find out," says Harry while he began to laugh. Harry and I started laughing while Ron and Hermione started blushing. "At least I don't have a girlfriend," says Ron. "You leave me and my boyfriend alone!" This was one of the playful fights I always got into with Ron. After all, we are related.
