The Quidditch World Cup part 2

Lily's P.O.V

After I showed Harry where he would be staying, I wanted to have some private time with Harry. I took him to my room and closed the door. Harry smiled, walked over to me, and kissed me passionately. I've been waiting for another moment like this. Harry began to stroke my hair, which felt really good, and sent chills down my spine. I felt happy in this moment. After a few minutes, we pulled away, and I started giggling. Harry started chuckling, and then said "I forgot how pretty you are." I love him so much. "I missed you so much Harry." "I missed you too Lily." After a few moments of awkward silence, Harry pulled me in for a long hug. I rested my head on his shoulder, and he once again began to stroke my hair. I heard the door open, and Ron came in. "Geez Lily, he barely got here and you're already hogging him." I blushed, and then said "Come on, Ron! If you were dating Hermione, I bet you would do the same." Ron then blushed and left. Harry and I looked at each other, and began to laugh.

Harry's P.O.V

Over these past few days without Lily, I already missed her. Now that I saw her again, I felt like the happiest man in the world. I missed Lily so much that I had to kiss her. A few moments later, I heard Mrs. Weasley yell "Hermione's here!" I saw Lily's face light up. She grabbed my hand and dragged me downstairs saying "come on! Let's go say hi!" When we got downstairs, Lily ran to hug Hermione. "Hermione! I'm so happy you're here," said Lily. They both hugged for a few seconds, and then Hermione said hi to me. "So, what have you two done so far?" Lily looked at me, and I said "we've just started talking again." Hermione laughed and rolled her eyes. "Come on, I know you've kissed already." We all started laughing. I hope this is my future.

Lily's P.O.V

Hermione just came. Yay! Now two other people I care about are here with me. The rest of the day was just Harry and Hermione getting settled in. At night, we all got ready for bed, and we all sat in the living room and just talked to each other. Harry and I were holding hands, and Ginny said "I guess our love birds are happy now." Everyone laughed, even me and Harry. After 2 hours of talking, it was 11:30 pm, and my dad came in and said "alright kids. Tomorrow we all have to wake up early. Let's go get some sleep." We all got up, said goodnight, and went off to bed. After a few sleepless hours, Harry came in to check up on me. I pretended to sleep, but when he was about to go back, I said "wait, Harry." "Yeah?" "Can you stay with me?" Harry smiled, and cuddled with me. I instantly felt safer. I fell asleep quickly, and so did Harry.

Harry's P.O.V

After Mr. Weasley sent us to bed, I just laid there, sleepless. I went to check if Lily was ok, and she was asleep. As I was about to leave the room, Lily asked me if I could stay with her, so I got in bed with her and we cuddled. She fell asleep then, and I fell asleep about a minute after her. When I woke up, Lily was gone, and I was the only one in the room. I began to worry, so I changed as quickly as I could and ran downstairs to see everyone having breakfast. I saw Lily, and went to sit next to her. "Lily, you scared me! I thought you were gone," I said as I hugged her and gave her a kiss on the cheek. She giggled and then said "sorry, but you wouldn't wake up."

We continued to eat breakfast for about 30 minutes, and then we all got ready. I saw what Lily was gonna wear, and she looked really beautiful. She always does.

Lily's P.O.V

I woke up at 5:45 am and tried to wake Harry up. I shook him but he just wouldn't budge. I decided to leave him and I got changed into my outfit. I then left the room and went downstairs for breakfast. A few minutes after, Harry came down worried. "I thought you were gone!" I giggled and said "sorry, but you wouldn't wake up." We all ate breakfast and then we set out for the portkey. Harry had never traveled by portkey, so he stood next to me. We went next to each other. To make everything better, since I've had nerves without Harry, when we landed, I fell on top of him. I started to blush and he helped me up. "Sorry," I said. He kissed my cheek and said "it's ok." When we got to the Quidditch World Cup, we went in our tent. We had come with the Diggorys, but thy went to their own tent. Harry pulled me aside and asked "why are you nervous around me again?" I took a deep breath. "I don't know, maybe because I haven't seen you in so long. I kinda forgot how we were before," I said sadly. Harry looked at me with soft eyes, those same green eyes I fell in love with, and said "I didn't know you thought that." I then looked up at him very sadly. "I'm sorry." Harry instantly said "don't be. I understand. Actually, I feel a little the same." I smiled slightly at him. "I love you Harry." "I love you too Lily."

Harry's P.O.V

Just after Lily and I had shared a moment, Hermione came out from the tent and said "are you two lovebirds coming inside or not?" "Yea, we'll be in in a second," I answered. "Ok," Hermione said as she smiled and wet back in the tent. I looked at Lily for a few seconds, and then I kissed her real quick then went in the tent. She smiled and followed behind me."

The tent was bigger than what you imagined. It was like a house, but from outside it looked like a normal tent. Later that day, we headed for the Quidditch match between Ireland and Bulgaria. Draco was there too, and he started to flirt with Lily. "She's taken, Malfoy," I said angrily as I held her protectively. "Well, Potter. You've got yourself a girlfriend!" We just kept walking and ignored him.

Lily's P.O.V

After the Quidditch match, we all went back to the tent and talked about what happened. Ron was talking about Victor Krum, and Harry had his arm around me while we stood by one of the walls. A few minutes after, we heard screams from outside, so we decided to look, and there was a fire. I saw death eaters walking up and down the tents, and people running. I held onto Harry's hand tightly, and he pulled me behind him protectively. "Run," said my dad. I immediately began to run while I held Harry's hand, and as I kept running, I felt Harry's hand slip from mine. "Harry!" I saw a rush of people pass up Harry, and he fell into the ground. I ran to him and tried to pick him up and keep running, but I got stepped on, and I also blacked out.

Harry's P.O.V

When Lily and I were running away from the scene, I got separated, and trampled. I blacked out, and then I heard Lily scream my name. Then I felt her try to pick me up, but I think she got trampled too. When I woke up, Lily wasn't awake yet. I picked her up bridal style, and tried to get to safety. "Morsmorde!" I heard someone say. I saw a skull with a snake for a tongue appear in the sky, and I got scared. "Harry!" I heard Hermione trying to find me, until she came with Ron and the rest of the Weasleys. Me. Weasley saw Lily, and looked very concerned. I was speechless. Then, a bunch of people came up to us pointing their wands. I gut scared, and held onto Lily tighter. Everything happened in a flash. Soon enough, we were back home. Lily hadn't woken up yet, and I was worried. I took her to her bedroom, and laid her on her bed. I sat next to her and held her hand. A few moments later, she slowly opened her eyes. "You shouldn't have gone back for me," I said. She sat up slowly and said "I couldn't ever dream of leaving you behind," she answered. I hugged her tightly, and she did too. "At least you're alright," I said. "You too," she answered. Mrs. Weasley walked in and asked "Lily, are you alright?" "Yeah, I'm fine mum," she answered.

Lily's P.O.V

I think I hit my head harder than Harry, cuz I woke up to him sitting by me in my room. "You shouldn't have gone back for me," said Harry. I told him I could never even dream of leaving without him. My mum came in a few seconds after and asked if I was alright. "Yeah, I'm fine mum. Luckily Harry was there to take me." My mum looked at Harry and said "thank you Harry!" Harry looked nervous and he blushed. "You're welcome, Mrs. Weasley." "Well, I'll leave you here to rest, Lily. Harry, you're allowed to stay," said my mum. "Thanks Mrs. Weasley." As my mum left the room, Harry looked at me. "I love you," said Harry. "I love you too," I answered. Harry then gave me a quick peck on the lips and said "you wanna hang out with Hermione and Ron?" "Yeah, let's go." I tried to get up, but I had a bit of trouble. Harry helped me up, and let me lean on him. As we walked out, Hermione tackled me. "I thought you died," she said as a tear slipped from her face. I hugged her and she hugged me back. We separated, and Harry let me lean on him again. "Hermione, do you know where Ron is, cuz Lily and I wanna hang out with you guys," asked Harry. "Yeah, sure. Ron's in the living room." "Let's go!" I said.

Harry, Ron, Hermione and I were just hanging out in Ron's backyard. "You know, I think you and Harry will end up married at the end of all this," said Hermione. We all laughed. Harry had his arm around me. "So, why do you guys think the death eaters invaded the Quidditch World Cup?" Asked Harry. "I honestly don't know," said Hermione.

The rest of the summer flew by, Hermione and Harry stayed with us the whole summer, and we went shopping for all our new supplies. Then, we waited for September 1st to come around so we could get back to Hogwarts.
