The Third Task

Lily's P.O.V

It's been a week since we found out what the third task was. I know I said that I wasn't so worried before, but now, I'm getting worried. It's the day of the third task, and I got ready in my outfit. Knowing I was gonna be running around a maze, I put my hair in a braid. Once I got ready, I went down to the Great Hall and had a light breakfast. When I was done, I walked back up to the common room. Harry had just come down the stairs, and I ran to him. I gave him a tight hug, and my eyes filled with tears. Harry comforted me by saying "ssshhhh. It's ok. Nothing's gonna happen, because I'm gonna make sure you're ok." A few of my tears fell, but then I calmed down. "I hope we'll be ok," I said. Harry kissed me for a while, and then pulled away. "That's just in case anything happens," he said. I smiled, and then just tried to mentally prepare myself for the last task.

Harry's P.O.V

It's now time for Lily and I to go down for the third task. We walk down together, holding hands. I love Lily with all my heart, and I don't want anything to happen to her. When we got to the maze, Lily looked a bit more worried, and she squeezed my hand tightly. I squeezed her hand to comfort her, and said "it's ok. We'll make it out alive." She nodded, and we got in our spots. "This maze," began Dumbledore, "has the capability to change people." I hope it doesn't have the capability to make people not love each other, because I love Lily with all my heart. Dumbledore continued. "Inside this maze, is a cup in the center. The person to find it first will win this tournament. Now, I must warn you. People change in this maze. Since Lily Weasley has the highest score, and is the champion in 1st place, she will go on first." Lily looked worried and terrified. "On 3 Ms. Weasley. 1.......2........3!" Lily ran in the maze until she was out of sight. "Mr. Potter will go next." I got got ready, and as soon as Dumbledore said 3, I ran in. I hope Lily's ok.

Lily's P.O.V

I.am.totally.freaked.out. I don't know what to do! After searching aimlessly for the cup, I found Harry. I whispered "Harry!" He turned around and saw me. I ran to him quietly, and gave him a tight hug. He hugged me back, and we separated. "Let's stick together," said Harry. I nodded, and he took my hand. We walked around looking for the middle so we could get the cup and get out of here. We saw Victor Krum, and he looked bewitched. Before he looked, Harry pushed me against the wall of the maze, and he went over me protectively. When Victor looked quickly, Harry pushed further in. I heard footsteps, and Harry got out. He helped me out, and we kept walking. We then later found Fleur being taken by plants. Harry lit a red light in the sky like they told us to so they could come help. We kept walking and found Cedric who was about to fight Victor. Harry said "STOP! He's bewitched, Cedric!" Cedric just said "Get OFF of me!" They kept fighting, so before Harry got hurt, I used my wind power and blew them away from each other. They looked at me and I said "stop it." Harry came back next to me and held my hand. Cedric, Harry and I kept walking until we found the cup. A gust of big wins came, and we could see the path behind us start to close up. We all three ran, and then Cedric tripped. He was now being taken by the plant. He yelled and asked for help. Harry wasn't doing anything, so I used my earth power to separate the branches. Cedric stood up, and thanked me. The gust of wind has stopped, but now it started again. We ran to the cup, and Cedric said "take it. You two saved me, take it!" Harry then said "all of us on three, one...two....three!" We all grabbed the cup at the same time, and we got transported to a creepy graveyard. I have a bad feeling about this.
