"You ready to go?" Louis banged on my [locked] bedroom door. I checked myself in the mirror and said "Hold your horses!" He banged on the door until I opened it. His eyes widened as he scanned me, up and down. "What?" I chuckled. "You're beautiful." I laughed "Let's go." I took his hand and we headed downstairs and out the door. We were going to spend the day at The Great Escape. He opened my door and I got in, putting on my seatbelt. He got in and started the car, off we went. On the way, we jammed out to music and just talked and laughed. Finally we had arrived. We paid our way in then stood at the entrance of the park. "What do you want to ride first?" He asked. I smirked at him and raised my eyebrow. I then took his hand and dragged him to the Boomerang. "Are you sure you want to ride THIS one?" He asked. I could tell he was scared. I joked "Yeah, I'm sure. Why? Are you scared?" He looked at me, disgusted, "Me? Scared? I'm NOT scared." He assured me. I laughed and rolled my eyes, "Okay then." Finally it was our turn. "You tall enough Lou?" I joked as we walked in. He looked at me and raised his eyebrow. He hated when I joked about his height. We sat in the front seats and soon we were off! As we made our way up the hill I looked over at a "scared" Louis. "You ready?" I laughed. He chuckled in response, "No." We flew up and down the hills, turned corners, went upside down, and finally backwards. Louis screamed and I did too, but I laughed at points. When the ride was over and we got off he looked at me, "I hate you." I chuckled at this, as we walked down the steps. "You don't hate me." He looked at me and laughed, "Sometimes, I wish I could." I rolled my eyes. Our fingers intertwined as we made our way to other rides. The whole day we spent riding rides, eating, playing games, going to the waterpark, making videos and taking pictures, and just having fun. The last ride we rode was the Ferris wheel. We sat down and the ride started up. We stopped at the top. "Wow. It's beautiful up here." I looked at him then at the sunset. "Yeah. It is." He agreed. I took out my phone and we took another picture. I made a collage and posted it online then added the caption:
Spent the day with this goofball. Had a blast! He's such a kid but I love him ❤️
I put my phone back in my pocket then just looked at Louis. He wasn't paying attention. I smiled at him as he admired the sunset. I started to cry. He noticed and his happiness sank. "Babe. What's wrong?" He put his arm around me and held me tight. I cried into his chest. Finally, I stopped but as I spoke I was sniffling. "I'm just scared." He looked at me, "Scared? About what?" I sniffled again, "I'm scared that I'm going to lose you, and I don't want to lose you. You're the best thing that's ever happened to me. You're my best friend and I love you. I don't want anyone else, beside you. I'm afraid that when school starts you're going to meet someone else, someone better and prettier than me. I can't lose you-" He interrupted, "Slow down, slow down. You're never going to lose me. I love you so much and I don't want any other girl, I only want you. I need you. I can't imagine my life without you. Yes, we fight sometimes but we always make up and you're beautiful and perfect to me, I don't care about other girls. I love you and that's all that matters." He kissed me passionately. Soon, we had left the park and I fell asleep on the way home. I felt Louis pick me up and carry me inside. He laid me on the bed then crawled into bed next to me, wrapping his arms around me. I felt his warm lips touch mine. "I love you Maddy." I smiled.
