pokemon story: the deep connection

CH 5: Clueless.

Pikachu's pov

["Hey buddy, stay well. I know I will miss you and you too will miss me but we have to separate. Bye pikachu...... Bye forever my friend. Bye." Ash was saying and fading away in dark. Pikachu was extra tired and was lying flat on ground. All he could do was just listen as he could not move to save his trainer. He just lied their in pain, the pain not from injuries but because of ash going away.] This is what pikachu is dreaming.

Soon I was up awake realising that it wasn't just a dream but had happened for true. I came out from a bush where I didn't know how I ended up sleep. It was late night and dark heavy clouds had covered every bit of the sky. It could rain any time.

I yelled out "Pika.....pikachu....."But no reply came.

I yelled again hoping ash to hear me but it was for no use. I was alone. Helpless. Weak.

My wobbling feet was unable to move even an inch.

(Do you think pikachu knows how much is an inch??? )

I managed to gather all my remaining energy and blasted a thunder bolt towards the clouds.
The clouds got overcharged and released back a lot of thunder which I used to recharge my self up. It wasn't that much of energy to battle but enough for me to head back towards coumarine city to seek help.

I started walking to find a way and then what I felt just boosted me up.
I felt ash saying " I know pikachu you can do it. Remember, never give up until the very end. I will always be with you buddy."

Serena's pov

I opened my eyes slightly and saw nothing. It was all black, so dark that it appeared that someone pulled my eyes off! I tried sensing the environment by touching and found that I was in a cage like structure with metal grills. The night was horrible and completely silent. I decided to speak to check if anyone else was there, "Hey, is anyone there. I am Serena."

"Serena! Are you alright." A familiar voice said so I turned towards that voice and saw there was a window through which very little light was seeping inside the cage of the boy. The outline of the boy was easy to guess because of his hair and Hat on head with a jacket. "Ash, is that you?" I asked feeling relief that I was not alone but with my hero.

The room was so dark that ash was the only visible thing in the room. I could say we were not on land as I could see forest and clouds through the window.

Ash then said in a happy tone " Hey Clemont, Bonnie heard that. Serena is alright and with us."

"Alright is not the word I would use, ash." It was Clemont's voice.

"Yes ash, you see she too got caught" Bonnie said in a sad tone.

"Oh, I see. What happened to pikachu. Did he got caught too? You see, they have taken all our pokemon and goods that we had." Ash said once more.

"No I manage to hide him away from those people." I replied hoping him to feel better at least for pikachu.

Now, all my fear went on a holiday trip. My friends were with me. But then I remembered ash coming in between to save me from that guy. Now, what I just wanted to do was go and hug ash tightly. I wanted to tell him all my feelings.So I asked in nervousness "Ash, why did you save me?."

I was interrupted by a thunder which was a bit wired. From the window I seemed to be very week and approaching from the ground to the clouds. And then a moment later it appeared like the clouds returned the thunder with a way more sound and light.

That thunder flash appeared for a moment and skocked me without touching me. What I just saw was unbelievable. The one second flash reveled the size of the room I was in. It was humongous. Large enough to fit hundreds of whalords. But the more shocking thing was there were thousands of cages and each cage containing pokemon trainers like me and ash!

But then I heard ash murmuring something
"It's coming from the forest far, down there. I guess it's pikachu."

Wow, he could sense his friend from this far away. Ash is really incredible! He shares such a special bond with pikachu.

He started again " I know pikachu you can do it. Remember, never give up until the very end. I will always be with you buddy."

He had faith in pikachu that it can bring some help. But I still wonder how can that little pokemon come up here to rescue us? I had no hope. But ash wasn't feeling the same. He was still hoping for pikachu to help.

He didn't replied to my question. He might not noticed my question or might didn't want to answer it. I didn't know. does he likes me back? He was so reckless, didn't cared for himself, may mean that he had feelings for me. I don't know if is true our not. But for sure, I loved him. And I could have told him if all this didn't happened.

I stayed silent. Suddenly a sound of a gas spray appeared and I fainted. I was sure ash and others fainted too. Most probably, it was a gas to make people become unconscious.

Pikachu's pov

I was in my way to coumarine city. I had to get help. Ash has always cared for me, won many matches with me, helping me, training me. Even when team rocket tried to steel me he was there to save me. Now it was my turn to save him. But I couldn't even guess where they were.

I somehow managed to reach coumarine city pokemon centre. I walked for the whole night. Nurse joy saw me and picked me up with worries when I was at the pokemon centre door. She gave me the proper treatment. All I was able to do after treatment was rest. I wanted to go help ash out, but where was he?
