Ash's POV
"Hey guys, let's stop." Clemont said, as we were walking along the corridor.
"Clemont, are you tired again? We're just walking." Bonnie mumbled, looking up at her brother.
Except, Clemont wasn't paying attention to his sister. Instead, he was standing beside a door, peering inside through a window.
"Nope. Come and look what's inside this room." He said, motioning with his hand to come and check it out.
As he opened the door, I walked in first, followed by the the rest of the gang. This appeared to be the room where they kept all our Pokemon and other stuff they stole.
"Hey guys, look. This is the signaling device." Gary said, showing a small rectangular device with a red button to everyone.
"Then what are you waiting for? USE IT, YOU IDIOT!" I yelled at him, holding myself back from snatching it right out of his hand.
"I wish I could." Gary said, while sweatdropping.
"Why what's wrong? Don't you know how to use it?" Clemont asked, taking the device from Gary's hand and examining it more closely.
"Well, actually it's broken." Gary said with a smile, while everyone groaned.
I didn't get why Gary was smiling after breaking the gadget. He was acting weird, but who cares.
"It's not big issue." Clemont said adjusting his glasses with his finger. "I can fix it in no time."
"Clemont, you're the best!" I said to him, which he replied with a nod.
We took all of our Pokeballs and our backpacks and headed out. Clemont, now with his tools in hand, was working on the device while walking. We left all of the other Pokeballs there so that when Gary's helpers and cops will come, they can return it to their respective trainers.
We reached the way out through the other side of aircraft. There, we saw a large truck getting loaded by those foolish black suited guys. By eavesdropping we found that they were going to the other side of the island.
"So that's the thing. The old mysterious temple must be at the other side of the island. If we try running straight through the forest, maybe we can reach it before them." Gary said.
"Why running?" Clemont said, with a 'what the hell are you saying' look on his face.
"It's alright Clemont. You can wait here with Bonnie. Why don't you work on that device and repair it here?" I said, keeping an arm on his shoulder.
"Why should I stay here with him? It's not my fault that he can't run!" Bonnie whined, puffing up her cheeks.
I guess she wanted to come along us but the situation out there could become severely dangerous, so it was better for her to stay with Clemont and Serena.
"Listen Bonnie, it's for your own good. After all, Serena is here with you too." I said with a smile, to which her face expression suddenly turned happy.
"Really?! Yay!" Cheered the happy Bonnie.
"Wait, what? Why should I stay?" Serena complained like Bonnie, placing her hands on her hips.
"Do I need to explain this to every single one of you?" I groaned.
"No. I am coming with you. What if you get into trouble?" She asked seriously, her face expression not happy or sad.
"If something goes wrong, I will send Noibat to look for you guys." I replied, placing a hand on her shoulder.
I could clearly see worry in her eyes. The baby blue eyes that mesmerize me everyday were almost completely flooded in tears.
"Serena, stay with us. I need to talk to you." Bonnie said, pulling Serena's hand, catching her attention.
This was our chance. As she turned to talk to Bonnie, we rushed into the forest at the speed of light.
Serena's POV
What's his problem? Why couldn't he just let me come with him?
"Serena, stay with us. I need to talk to you." Said Bonnie, pulling my hand towards her.
Oh god. Bonnie wants to talk. I already know what's she's going to say. She's going to say how I should confess my feelings to Ash, or something like that.
As I turned to deny Bonnie, I heard a sudden rush. I quickly turned my head and saw Ash and Gary running away. I wanted to follow them, but Bonnie stopped me by pulling my hand again.
Looks like I have no other choice but to stay. Clemont already started to work on the gadget, so Bonnie and I sat under a tree and I started talking to her.
"What's the matter Bonnie? What do you wanna talk about?" I said innocently, as if I didn't knew what she was going to say.
"You know what I wasn't to talk about, right?" She accused, her eyes clearly saying that she knows what I know.
Man. She's a lot smarter than I think, even though she's a lot younger than me... Should I tell her?
Yeah. Not going to happen.
"I didn't get it. What are you saying?" I said sounding as polite and clueless as I could.
"Oh please. Did something happen between you two in the aircraft when we weren't there? I saw you two holding hands." Bonnie accused again, narrowing her eyes and flashing a smirk.
Bonnie's words made me immediately burst into blushing, my hands also becoming sweaty.
"Uh.... Maybe...." I whispered, my heart saying yes, but my mind saying no.
"THAT'S AWESOME SERENA!" Bonnie exclaimed, grabbing my hands, "Now tell me the whole story!"
I had no other choice but to tell her everything. At least it's better than having to put up with Bonnie's persistence.
I gulped in my saliva and blurted out in full speed;
"I said I love you and I kissed him."
I actually kinda lied to her. Ash was the first one to say I love you.
Bonnie's expression changed to one of someone reacting to when an idiot talks about rocket science.
"Seriously? You did all of that? Tell me the truth."
Well, crap.
"Ok, fine. He was the one to make the first move." I said, thinking about how much she knows about Ash and I.
