Ch 7: A hot fiery reunion.

(In the evening)

Serena's pov

The whole day is about to end. Pikachu is somehow safe but I doubt if he is fine. He was very injured battling those crooks. Hope is all we are left with. But there was a moment of relief when I saw that they captured miette too. So funny it was seeing her in the cage when she regained her consciousness. After all it wasn't that bad until she started chatting with ash.

"Hey Serena, come here." Bonnie said in a very soft tone so that only I could hear.

I moved towards her cage as her cage was in the left of mine with the metal grills touching. We started talking in soft tone as I knew what she wanted to talk.

"So Bonnie, why did you call me in this privacy?"

"Well Serena, I wanted to know the whole scene happened between you two." She said with a big grin. I can't guess why she has so much of interest in me, but is alright.

"Well, I was about to tell my feelings but the explosion ruined the moment." I said acting like only this much happened.

"Then?" She asked more curiously. "Look Serena I know something happened. Better if you tell me the whole thing."

I had no choice but to tell her, "fine. We were attacked by many people. All of our pokemon were captured. And then I was in danger when ash himself came in between to save me. But he himself got caught." I finished slightly blushing about the thought of ash saving me like my hero.

"So Serena, it's now clear that ash doesn't like you." Bonnie said seriously making my heart broke into pieces as if made up of glass. I had almost cried on her words until she spoke again
"Actually he loves you."

It felt like the time has stopped for the while. I left out a relieve breath and stopped my crying heart. I started blushing so hard that even ash noticed it

" Hey Serena, Is everything alright? You are burning red in colour??" Ash asked in concern.

"Y...yeah, is alright here." I managed a smile which made him smile too.

"Well, well. Look who it is! How are you doing Serena!" Miette interrupted us giving me a stinky look.

"I'm having fun out here." I replied and she gave a fake smile at my statement. Was she that dumb that she can't guess how it feels to be in a cage? After all she herself was in a cage. I don't know what she wants to do with me. She seems to like ash too.

"Hi ash. Don't you worry, I am here to give you a company. If you feel alone then you can have a chat with me and I would love to talk too." Miette said to ash in a fake smile again. Wait. What she said? Love? Who the hell bought this crap here! I wanted to smash her head and play soccer with it but I controlled my feelings, still not even able to speak a word. I wish I had a bus here to throw it at miette.

"Y....yeah, sure." Ash said which felt like my heart broke in pieces again.

"Hey lady, this guy is called Gary. I would love to talk too. Are you free tomorrow?" Gary's suddenly interrupted asking miette. I broke into a laugh, not on Gary but on miette's expression after Gary's statement.

Everyone shared a laugh except miette which was a relief for me.

Team rocket's pov (w.r.t. Jessie James and mewoth)

(They are in a hot air balloon, out on a search for pikachu)

"Hey mewoth, you said it would be a piece of cake to catch that yellow rat." James said getting annoyed of searching for pikachu. The have been searching for about an hour.

"But James, I said about catching it not finding it." Mewoth said in his defence.

" I think we should head back to our airship. They may have some work for us." James said but was interrupted by Jessie "No. We are not going back!"

"But why, Jessie?" James asked in confusion.

"Because last time they asked us to clean the whole airship." Mewoth said expecting Jessie to agree.

"No you idiots! Look there on the front door of the pokemon centre. We are not going because I found that electric pest" Jessie said with stars in her eyes, pointing towards the outside of pokemon centre. Pikachu was standing there looking at the sky.

" Yeah look, it looks like he is waiting for us to come. All we need to go and grab it"

"He is not waiting for us mewoth, he is looking to the opposite side." James replied.

"Whatever let's go!" Jessie said and they headed towards pikachu.
They landed just behind pikachu which made him turn around.

"Pika...pi?" Pikachu said with electrical sparks emerging his cheeks.

"Why are we here? Can't you see we are here to catch you little pikachu." Mewoth translated his words and gave a reply.

"Pika...pi...pikachu..." pikachu said in about to attack posture.

"Oh yes, your stinky little trainer is under team rocket's capture and we are here to take you to him. So it would be better if you easily come with us." Mewoth replied I an oversmart manner.

As mewoth finished his words, something really large and powerful landed behind pikachu which sent shivers through team rocket's spines. It was orange in colour with large wings and had a flame on it's tail with a dragon type looking head and a bag on his back.

"H...hey little pikachu...
I..I hope you a...are good, we came here to say h....hello....that's All" James said vibrating hard in fear. Not only James but all three of them were in about to die look.

The large pokemon roared loud and let out a flame thrower which burnt team rocket and their balloon. They were all covered in soot. All were scared enough to faint on the spot and it happened.

When they opened their eyes they found themself tied in a rope around a tree. And in front of them was pikachu on the shoulder of the winged monster. It let out a roar that shook team rocket.

"Pika...pi..."

"Please translate mewoth" Jessie asked mewoth.

"He is saying that it would be better for us to tell where ash is or they are going to roast us." Mewoth translated with fear.

As he finished the large pokemon roared again "chhhhaaaaaarrrrrrr........." loud enough to be heard miles away.
