CH 6: is that love you mean?

Team Rocket's pov (w.r.t. Jessie, James and mewoth)

( They entered the room after spraying the gas so everyone was unconscious. )

"Look, it's the twerp." James said in excitement pointing towards ash with a flash light.

"And if they are caught then pikachu is caught too." Jessie said with a smirk on her face.

"So why are we waiting for, let's go to the other room and get that rat in the trap!" mewoth exclaimed.

( in the other room where their pokemons were kept)

"Hey, mewoth, there is no pikachu here. Looks like he escaped" Jessie said in anger of not finding the pikachu. They were searching in the room for hours.

"Now, we have failed again." James was sad.

"No. Look at the positive side. If pikachu is not captured then it means he is still down there all alone." Mewoth explained to his team mates.

"Oh, yeah he will be alone, no one to help him. Capturing him will be a piece of cake" James said. The all made a group laugh and left the room.

Ash's pov

It's the next morning now and we all are still in cages. The better thing is that in the morning light we could see inside the room. The whole arrangement was clear. Clemont was to the right of me, Serena was just in front of me but at the other side of the chamber. Bonnie was to the left of Serena. I minded looking at other trainers and was shocked.They even caught korrina, and Gary? What was he doing here in kalos?

"Oh, yo ashy boy. Here in kalos?" Gary said looking happy to see me, but for some reason I was happy too.

"Yeah, I am here to win in the kalos league" I replied and continued "Well, we were attacked by many people and so caught here. But How did you end up here? Did they attacked you too?"

"Nah... I was eavesdropping team rocket at a meeting with other team members of team aqua, magma, plasma. So they caught me and now I am here."

"Wow. So what did you hear? By the way I Am Clemont. Nice to meet you."

"They are going to capture xeneras. So for no trouble in doing that, they have captured all the pokemon trainers and their pokemon around kalos" Gary finished with an about to cry look.

"Does that mean we are in a big trouble, I mean will they kill us" Serena said. I know she has a habit of thinking for the worse to happen but she looks cute even in worry. Wait. Why do I think she is cute?

"Hmmm... I guess so. But you don't worry lady. I am here to protect you. The name is Gary."

Serena giggled saying "thanks. I'm Serena."

What the hell. Gary was trying to flirt with Serena. So? Why am I feeling bad. And look at the luck, Gary's cage is right to Serena's. What can be worse than that?

There was a silence in the chamber when Serena spoke up again "Well ash, why did you save me that time getting yourself in danger?"

Oh crap. She didn't forget about it. I remember she asked me this yesterday but I didn't respond. But what for now? And for reality I didn't know what I did that. It was my heart asking me to do it.

"I don't know! I just wanted you to be safe." For some reason Serena started blushing deep.

"Common ash. Go ahead. Tell her the truth. Or Serena you should go ahead if ash doesn't." Bonnie exclaimed!

"What do you mean Bonnie!" Serena and I yelled at Bonnie in union making her silent.

Gary began "Oh ashy. So does that mean you like......

I interrupted him shouting quiet hard "Shut up Gary!"

"No need for me to say. Your extreme red face says everything"

Oh crap. Then I realized I was blushing deep red. I looked over Serena to see her reaction and saw she was blushing too. Does that mean she likes me? Wait, does that mean I like her? Is this the love concept?

I wish I could be there with Serena to give her a hug. But why I want to do that.
The game of love, is very complicated.

Then I decided to change the topic. It was really embarrassing. I asked korrina "Hey korrina, how did you lose to them. Your lucario could mega evolve, right?"

"Well hi ash. They were too many to battle. So, We lost" she replied. "They have captured lucario and took my key stone too."

"Oh yeah, I forgot to tell, they were talking that they need all kinds of mega stone and one key stone to rise the pokemon from an old temple somewhere in the mid seas on an island." Gary said in a know it all tone.

"Now I get it why they took the key stone from you, korrina." Clemont agreed adjusting his glasses.

"I guess we can just hope now" Serena said worried again.
"Or else we can have a nap. I wish I could have my breakfast" I said which somehow brought a smile on Serena's face. She was damn cute more over, I really think I like her. Is this what they call love?

Pikachu's pov

I woke up in the morning and saw myself on the bed. Nurse joy was standing beside my bed.

She asked "So, dear little pikachu, what happened to you? Did they captured you trainer too?"

I nodded in agreement saying "pika..pi"

"Well you are a lucky pokemon to make it till here. An evil corporation called team rocket is kidnapping all the the trainers across kalos. Its not known what they want." Explained nurse joy.

The name of team rocket made me jump in anger. Now what I wanted was revenge. But how?

It was then when something caught my eyes. The calling machine. And an idea struck my head. I asked nurse joy pointing towards the machine for making a call to professor oak. I made faces to tell about professor oak and she understood me well.

Ring ring

"Hello professor oak, I am nurse joy from coumarine city." She explained everything to professor oak about me and team rocket.

"So pikachu, ash is in danger and you need help, right?"

I nodded in agreement saying "pika...pi..."

"Well I will surely help and I know what you want. It will reach you till today evening." Said professor oak and dropped the call.

Now I was one step closer to save my best friend, my trainer ash.
