Chapter 21: A dilemma

Ash's pov

"Ahhhhhh............." Serena's scream echoed through the forest. The scream was loud, even the bird pokemons flew away because of the sound. To me, it felt like my heart being dropped into a volcano.

"Serena!" I yelled as soon as I heard and realised that she is in danger. But why? I hate Serena and that's all! She was the reason of my memory loss and moreover, she tried to hide it from me.

"Something is wrong, ash let's go." Clemont suggested and ran towards the forest. Bonnie and misty following. I guess they met misty when I was sleeping.

"Let them go ash, you don't need to care for Serena." Miette said sliding he hand in mine.

But I was having a different feeling. I tried my best to not worry about Serena but I just couldn't. My heart didn't want to believe that Serena could do something like that but it's what miette said. I was in a dilemma.

"Nooo....." another scream was heard. I couldn't stop myself and ran into the forest. The reason for my worries for Serena is not known but I know the reason for the hate I have. My brain says I should avoid her as my friend but my heart says she isn't such a dark hearted person either. And! why she went in the forest in the first place?

Questions were infinite, answers were insane.

"Serena!!!!" I yelled for her to listen but no reply.

"Serena!!!!" I yelled louder this time and a hand touched my shoulder. I turned to find misty behind me along with Clemont and Bonnie.

"What happened? Did you find Serena." I asked.

"No" Clemont replied.

"It's all because if you." Bonnie said with a death glare. "I saw you kissing miette. Have you gone mad? You and Serena were......"

"Me and Serena were?" I asked still confused.

"I don't know. It's all your fault. She loved yo...."

Bonnie was stopped in between by a sound in the bushes. Someone was eavesdropping through the bushes. Was it Serena?

"Serena!" I yelled but no response. I checked in the bushes but no-one was there.

After searching for half of the day we returned to our camp site. Miette was sitting near the food singing a song, probably 'love you like a love song.'

"Oh ash you are back! Have some breakfast, you haven't eaten anything yet." Miette said with a smile.

"We didn't get Serena. She must be in danger." Clemont said.

Miette's pov

Ash's face is looking so dull.
Why the hell he went to look for Serena? Does he still have feelings for her? Let me try.

"Hey ash, you know you don't need to worry for Serena. She deserves to be in trouble." I said with a million dollar smile.

"What!?" Clemont jumped. "But why, she was a nice girl."

"She WAS!" I said putting stress in the word 'was'

"No she is, isn't it Bonnie?" Clemont said and looked aside for Bonnie. But she was missing.

"Bonnie!!!" Clemont's worry soon took control over him.

"Where is Bonnie gone?" Ash! Why is he worrying?

Well, you must be thinking what's going on, isn't it? So, it's all my plan. Serena is kidnapped. So she is out of the way. I hid in the bushes and found that Bonnie could be a big trouble because #BonnieKnows. So she is kidnapped too. What I am gonna do is, make this misty girl return to kanto because it doesn't look good here with ash and, Clemont is dense, he will never figure out what's going on!

"Bboonnnniiee" ash yelled for her to listen but no reply of course.

"It's not good, first Serena, then Bonnie. They just disappeared!" Clemont was frustrated.

"Pika...." Pikachu jumped off Ash's shoulder and stood in front of me. Was that little thing going to attack me?

"What happened Pikachu?" Ash asked.

"Pi.....Pikachu.....pika.....pika.....pi........" He said. Unguessable for me.

"Miette? Oh no, Pikachu. She can't do this. It's not her fault." Ash assured him.

"Pika......pi....pi....Pikachu......pika......"

"Oh c'mon, now don't act like Bonnie, you know it's not my fault." Ash said. The situation looks like Pikachu knows the truth too. I need to do something.

"Oh Pikachu, do you need some poke puffs?" I asked.

"Pika....pi" he disapproves my proposal sounding angry. He surely knows the truth.

"What a minute! Two innocent girls are missing and you bull shît are planning for poke puffs? Shame on you." Misty popped up for no reason.

"It's almost 12 pm now. We better eat something and charge ourselves fully coz we have a lot of finding to do. And stay alert! No-one else has to disappear!" Clemont said shifting his glasses.

We had dinner and too rest for a few minutes. Everyone was serious and I was just pretending to be serious.

"Ash, I want to have a talk with you in privacy." Misty said. Her face wasn't happy at all.

Ash's pov

Serena has disappeared! Bonnie has disappeared! Pikachu is against me saying that I am wrong and Serena was innocent. Misty has returned in my life, hope she doesn't create any problem with miette.

I looked at misty and found she was looking at me with desperate eyes.

"Ash, I want to have a talk with you in privacy." She said. I had no other option but to go along with her. She had watery eyes.

We reached to a silent spot and I asked her.

"Alright, speak what ever you have to speak."

She lifted her finger towards Pikachu who was on my shoulder and said "I ment alone, ash."

I asked Pikachu to leave us for a while and he did as I said.

"It's like, I was here all for you ash, to get you back. But yesterday I found you already have a girlfriend so I wanted to say a sorry for showing up like this."

I don't know why the hell am I pushed in this love stuff! First, miette said I love her, god knows what the truth is. I even make out with her last night. Then, misty said she is here to get me. This thing is surely gonna kill me some day.

"It's.....It's Alright! I really don't care right now, what I care is for Serena!" I replied. Soon I realised what I said. I just said I care for Serena but I actually don't. Or at least I don't want to. What is happening to me???

"Alright, let's go and search for them!" She said.

"C'mon Pikachu let's go! Pikachu!?? Oh no, Pikachu.........where Are you buddy?? Not again!" I lost my best buddy too. I can't even imagine my journey without Pikachu and Serena. Wait, Serena again! Oh gosh! Why is she stuck in my brain? Also Pikachu is missing!
