chapter 16 : love isn't controllable. (PART II)

Sorry guys, it took a really long time to publish this chapter but what I could do? I was stuck with an exam.

Serena's pov

"Here it goes. Full power!" Shouted the scientist fixing his glasses in a similar way that Clemont does. He launched another beam with the mind control device but this time it was thicker in size.

Ash tried to pull me away but my legs appeared to be frozen. I didn't wanted to loose ash. It took so long for him to know my love and now, when things between me and ash started getting better, a freaking dumb metal head was trying to Steele him from me! Never. I tightened my grip around ash's hands and he did the same putting his other arm gently on my shoulder. For some reason, even in this situation it gave the warm feelings that I always get from ash.

The beam exploded in the way making a large cloud of smoke. It was Gary's umbreon and pikachu using shadow ball and electro ball to stop it.

As soon as the smoke was clear another explosion took place where Giovanni was playing his tricks. Giovanni was thrown back and a teleportation portal Like thing appeared in the sky from where a beautiful pokemon appeared.

Ash's pov

"What? Xerneas? He finally did it. Oh god." Said gary.

The pokemon was really beautiful and powerful. I couldn't do anything but to admire the beautiful pokemon. Everyone else did the same. And beautiful reminded me of Serena. Her ocean blue eyes were admiring the pokemon too. This was when I noticed her hand in mine.

I took another look around and found all my pokemons out of their pokeballs. They were really tired of battling. Almost all were injured.

"Alright! Prepare to attack. We will weaken it first and then control that pokemon." Said Giovanni with a deep grin on his face.

"Ready, sir." Replied the scientist. And many laser cannons and tanks were pulled up. Large pokemons like golurk also showed up.

"Fire!"commanded Giovanni and all the pokemons and weapons attacked on the legendary pokemon.

There were clashes and explosions. Xerneas cry in pain was loud enough to crack some glass panels.

There was not even a single movement among any of us. Everyone was like, stuck in a force field. The only movement that took place was serena coming close and sticking to me like a magnet. I hugged her sideways in return.

As soon as the smoke of the attacks disappeared, xerneas was seen getting angry. The xerneas went in a rampage, smashing everything that came in the way.

I looked around to find a way to stop this. Suddenly, something caught my eyes. I left Serena on the spot and ran towards the place where initially Giovanni was doing his job.

"Ash! Wait, what are you going to do?" I heard Serena yelling in concern but I didn't bother to stop and answer.

I reached to the place and shouted to my pokemon "everyone, assemble here!"

They all assembled and I turned back and picked up all the mega some and the only key stone which I guess belongs to korrina.

I gave my pokemon the right stone and held the key stone in my hand.

"Pika...pi?"

"I am sorry pikachu but you can't mega evolve." I replied to pikachu.

I tapped the stone yelling "mega evooolveee"
And a beam of light emerged through the key stone combining with the light through the mega stones. All my pokemon were mega evolved.

Charizard was turned into a red fiery mega charizard.
Secptile turned into mega secptile.
Glalie turned into mega glalie.
Heracros turned into mega heracros.
Tortera changed into mega tortera.
And finally my Phoenix bird talon flame transformed into mega talon flame.

"Y...you mega evolved all those pokemons?" Said gary who came running to me along with Serena.

"This is the only way I can end this." I replied in a serious tone.

"Alright everyone, stop xerneas and Giovanni."

I looked in Serena's ocean blue eyes and it had worries. She looked directly in my eyes as if saying not to go that much violent but I had no other choice. She pulled up her hand up to her heart with a clearly noticeable worried face.

I kept my hand in her shoulder in order to comfort her. She dashed to me and her lips met mine. The strawberry flavored lips were as soft as cotton candy. I slid my hand around her waist and pulled her to me causing a long passionate kiss.

"Ahemm.... Let's do it ash, if you are finished with your girlfriend." Said gary.

I had a last look in her eyes and turned around and ran towards xerneas with my pokemon and Gary following.

My pokemons were turned extremely powerful because of mega evolving. They successfully stopped Giovanni's army by destroying the weapons but xerneas was out of control.

"Ah... That little kid is a pain in the neck! Shoot him down" the scientist yelled.

I saw the mind control beam fired up but was not approaching me. It went straight and hit pikachu. More beams were shot and soon all my pokemon were under their control.

"Alright! Now end that boy's life." Order Giovanni pointing towards me.

My pokemon were approaching me to kill me.

"Guys! Wait. Pikachu? Do you hear me? It's me, ash Ketchum" they didn't seem to be listening and continued to step towards me.

"Pikachuuuu......" pikachu released a thunder towards me followed by everyone attacking me.

"Aaaahhhh.........stop it!" I cried. Somehow my cries helped them fight the controlling device and they fainted.

I was badly injured. I was lying flat on the ground, unable to do a single movement. I somehow managed to get up on my two legs which were paining like heck so I leaned on the nearby wall.

"Alright! Now it's time to take over control on xerneas. Charge the mind controlling device with maximum power. And DON'T LET IT GO!"

"Yes boss."

It shot another beam of the mind control device at xerneas.

Was this the end? My pokemons were unconscious and I didn't wanted Serena to get in danger. Gary was defeated too.

No one was left but from somewhere a wave of energy entered my body, probably the energy of my love. I ran straight between xerneas and the beam. I was shot hard and it pained like hell.

For once, every single moment of my life was refreshed in a second. The start of my journey with pikachu, the gym battles, all my pokemon and my friends, my mom and my lovely Serena. Everything was in front of my eyes before losing control over my body. Slowly I lost my sense of control.
