Paparazzi took no time to find out what was going on, kids began to crowd around the line of SUV's doing their best to figure out what celebrity was going to emerge for the vehicles. It was known for its constant open doors which is why kids were known to hang out in the area, in hopes of seeing someone they were used to seeing on tv. Nate made his way to the front of the store standing by the tall glass doors waiting for whoever to step out. He had been working at Supreme for a total of 6 months, meeting a handful of celebrities, but none were at the caliber of Drake at the moment. He shot Nate a head nod and reached out to embrace him, the doors were immediately closed and locked, crowds of kids knocked on the glass windows trying to get his attention, Drake turned and gave a small smile and wave. Chubb's voice could be heard throughout the building over the current Travis Scott song being played, his excitement in who he was greeting pulled Drake's attention from acknowledging the crowd of kids.
"The Supreme Queen in the flesh! Ok, you pulled up" He said smiling and stepping closer, she moved from behind the counter as Chubbs pulled her into a warm hug. Meeting through a mutual female friend that he was dating, they had hung out several times whenever he made his way to LA.
"No, YOU pulled up. Clearly!"
"Every time I come you not here! It's always the homie Nate and uh... Who's that one ting with the uh... The tattoo sleeves on both arms... Her name is like Kim or something..."
"Oh... you're talking about Kimaya!"
"Yeah yeah yeah... She's cool though, she hooks me up."
"Did you get the boxes I sent y'all!?" She asked with a smile.
"Yesss! I saw the hoodies and was like... Man, she gets me! Tae understands the black on black!" He clapped his hands together with a smile.
Tae smiled letting out a small laugh. "As soon as I saw the collection and all the black, you were the first person that popped up in my head."
"We about to go on tour too! Black on black! All day!" Their conversation was cut short as Drake casually draped his arm on Chubbs shoulder and cleared his throat, he turned to Drake and smirked.
Chubbs already knew that look. He knew within those few seconds his best friend and business partner had already planned out how he was going to wine and dine Tae. A hungry look in his eyes, he was scanning her from top to bottom without moving his head, he stood off to the side studying their conversation and by the looks of Chubbs interactions with Tae Drake knew they were simply just friends. He had her measurements, her bra size, her height, and weight all within those few seconds all summed up. When Drake saw something he liked, he never hesitated to go after it. Even if it took longer than he planned, it never stopped him from eventually coming out with the kill, and for the time being Tae was the prey.
"This is Tae, she the VD for the Supreme line. Tae, this is Dra......" Chubbs was interrupted.
"Aubrey." Cutting his friend off. He extended a hand for her to take.
"This nigga..." Chubbs very quietly mumbled to himself turning his head away from both of them.
She embraced his professional soft, yet firm handshake, but he held onto her hand for longer than he should have, her right eyebrow arched wondering when and if he had plans to give it back, Chubbs rolled his eyes and pulled Drake's arm from his shoulder leaving the two of them alone, he laughed and shook his head, he had seen Drake in action many times and this was no different.
"So you're the reason I have 2 unopened boxes of clothing sitting on my bedroom floor!?" He playfully asked completely unaware of her job and existence.
"Guilty." She shook her head up and down Drake's boyish smile widened. "Can I have my had back?"
"I don't know? Can you?" He teased her with a smirk, she dropped her head hiding the smile forced on her face from his overwhelming charm. "I'll make sure I get to those as soon as this tour is over... speaking of the tour, you going to any of the shows?" Drake was looking Tae in the eyes, she almost felt uncomfortable how much eye contact he made, she had never met a man that did that, she came off as intimidating, she looked mean unconsciously, and found no reason to entertain men famous or not, most if not all fell short to her high standards. They'd meet her, shake her hand, and was out just as fast as they came in, she'd then catch them admiring her from a safe distance. However, Drake held eye contact and had yet to release her hand. As she was about to answer she was cut off by Oliver yelling they had to go. While she was being cornered by Drake himself, Nate seemed to handle everything without breaking a sweat. She turned back to Drake who was still looking at her waiting for her to answer his question.
"Uh... yeah. I'll be at the New York show." She finally responded. Drakes smile grew.
"Perfect, you should give me your number, we definitely need to hang out after the show!" Drake said pulling his phone from his back pocket with his free hand, pushing down on the screen then handing her the slim gold iPhone, already pulled up to the contact area, all she had to do was put he name & number in.
"How do you know if I want to hang out with you or not?.." She teased.
"I don't." He replied back. She smirked and let out a single chuckle.
"You let go of my hand, I can give you what want." She said staring him in the eyes. He clenched his jaw smirking at her sense of smartass humor, he finally let go of her small hand. She grabbed his phone and her thumbs quickly typed across the screen, then returned the phone, he looked down at the info, smiled, and slid the device back into his pocket. The members of Drake's crew began to make their way to the front doors of the store, still facing her Drake flashed that deadly smile, then winked at her.
"See you in New York." He said backing up from her.
"Possibly." She smirked.
