Tae put on her best acting skills, acting as normal as she could around Jazmine.

"Where's Shod!?" Jazmine looked down at her phone as her fingers type away at the screen.

Tae sat up as far as she could in the chair trying to see over her phone. Jazmine looked up, her phone still inches from her face, but her fingers stopped in their tracks. "What!? You hear me?"

"Yea, he's late you know how he is." Tae said leaning back in her chair, the hairstylist sectioning off pieces of her hair, and wrapping it around the barrel of a large number 1 curling iron.

"Mrs. Jazmine they're ready for you in the showroom, your phone does have to be placed in a security room though before you enter." The receptionist said as she stood in the doorway of the dressing room.

"Oh that's fine, gotta keep the selection exclusive. I love it." Jazmine said standing up and handing the woman her phone.

"As soon as you're done and leave the showroom it will be given back to you." The woman said safely holding onto Jazmine's phone as she led her to the beautiful showroom.

Jazmine found herself in heaven, she was completely engulfed with every piece of Balmain clothing that hung in the room. As Jazmine became hypnotized by any and everything shiny. Tae excused herself from the dressing room to let Shod in through the back. The plan was for him to sneak in, go through Jazmine's phone, sneak out back through the back doors, then enter through the front doors as if he just got there.

Tae pushed open the heavy backdoor to let him in. She stopped dead in her tracks as she looked over Shod's outfit. He stood under the LA sun dressed in all black. A beanie on his head, sunglasses over his eyes, a black t-shirt, a black long sleeve pullover sweater over that, black skinny jeans, black boots, and the topper, black gloves covering his hands.

"WHAT. ARE. YOU. DOING." Tae asked with her eyes as wide as possible overlooking his outfit. "Why are you dressed like OJ Simpson the night he killed his wife!" Tae hissed through her teeth.

"I am dressing the part!" Shod hissed back, as he looked around making sure nobody was looking at them.

"You look like you've been snatching women's purses all day!" Tae's whisper was not a whisper, but she kept her voice as low as she possibly could considering she was yelling at somebody.

"Hey! DO NOT! Disrespect my outfit! This. Is. Chanel!" Shod half whispered and half yelled back cutting her off pointing at his pullover sweater.

"I don't care if it's H&M! You look like somebody's shadow!"

Shod leaned in pointing his finger in her face. "I am a snap of the fingers away from going home! Do you hear me!" Shod looked around again.

Tae pulled him in the arm. "I can't believe you're walking around LA like this!" She mumbled to herself under her breath.

Shod snatched his arm away from Tae and fixed the bottom half of his black Chanel pullover. He took the glasses from his face and rolled his eyes as he slid them in his back pocket. Tae grabbed his hand again and pulled him to the security closet, she waved the white key she grabbed from one of the stylists in front of the lock system and pushed the door open.

"Ok, you know which one is her phone, the pass code is 1220. I'm going back to the dressing room so they can finish me up, call me as soon as you start going through her phone."

Shod rolled his eyes again as he pushed passed Tae and into the room. Tae closed the door behind him and walked back to her dressing room, she slid the white key card back on the counter as the stylist was distracted with her phone. Tae grabbed her phone from the counter and waited for Shod's call, she rolled her eyes knowing Shod was going to be an asshole and make her wait just to be petty. Tae felt the stylist began grabbing sections of her hair again.

"Hello!" Tae jumped and answered on the first ring.

"It's like four women in her name Melissa! And you don't even want to know how many chicks in here are named Destiny." Shod whispered through the phone to Tae. "I found Draya's name though."

"Go into her messages." Tae said, her nerves began to go haywire.

"It's definitely that bitch Melissa! She's telling her everything, she told her y'all was at the steakhouse! I told you it was her! Melissa use to date Drake!" Shod said whispering through the phone. "Damn, who hasn't this nigga dated." Shod mumbled but mumbled to loud.

"I can hear you!" Tae said back shaking her head. Tae breathed in then breathed out, a rush of adrenaline came over Tae, her legs began to bounce on the bar of the chair.

"Tell her I'm going to be in Miami, send it as if your Jazmine!"

"What! No! That was not apart of the plan!" Shod hissed back.

"Shod Santiago, I swear, if you don't send that txt, I will kill you in your sleep!" Tae said closing her eyes and pinching the brim of her nose.

"No! No! No!"

"You better not come out of that closet then, I swear!"

"I came out of the closet years ago! Your threats don't scare me!" Shod whispered to Tae as low as he could.

"Shod!"

"Fine!"

"After you send it, delete it, as if you never sent it."

Shod text out a message as if he was Jazmine sending her info, he complained the whole time he typed it out as soon as he sent it, he got a reply within seconds from Melissa, he deleted both messages, closed out the app, then locked her phone back, he pushed open the doors and walked out the same door he snuck in through. He walked to his car and got rid of his whole "Harriet The Spy" outfit and walked up to the studio's front doors.

"I'm here for La'Shauntae." Shod said with a smile.

"Yes! You must be Shod Santiago. She has your name written down here, follow me I'll take you to her dressing room." She said as she stood up from the chair and walked around the desk.

He followed her down the hall past multiple showrooms, all with exclusive Balmain clothing hanging in them, he frowned and shook his head as he walked past Jazmine who was in an all-white showroom completely oblivious to anything going on around her. The women pushed open the door to an empty dressing room.

"They must be on set, follow me, you can stand in the back." She said as she began walking to the first studio.

He smiled at how beautiful Tae was, already on her second look, this time in an all-white outfit, her hair straightened, with gold accessories. With everything she just found out she still managed to do a photoshoot for Balmain with ease. Shod had known Tae since they were six and if there was one thing she hated more than authority it was disloyalty. Shod could tell his beautiful long-time best friend was about to turn very very ugly.
