Over the course of two weeks, Tae had managed to put enough space in between her and Jazmine that even Drake questioned her about why he hadn't seen her lately. He frowned at Tae's "she's busy, I'm busy." excuse, but he didn't push the subject. Tae stood her distance from Jazmine, kept her from certain outings and sure enough, there were no random pop-ups. She was reluctant to take Shod's advice about Jazmine, for she had known her over a decade. Tae shook her head realizing friendship and loyalty meant nothing.
Tae frowned and twisted up her lip at her packing skills. "I been doing this since I was 14, but don't know how to pack MY OWN damn suitcase." She said to herself.
She shook her head and kneeled back down pulling different articles of clothing from the suitcase, then repacking it with completely different clothes, her closet resembling something of a war zone.
"How is it that you're so organized business wise, but a mess other wise." Drake looked around her destroyed closet as he stood in the doorway.
"Controlled chaos Aubrey, controlled chaos." She said raising a finger in the air, with her back still turned to him as she looked down at different shirts she pulled down from a shelf.
"Glad we don't share a closet." He mumbled under his breath walking further into the closet still looking around, doing his best to not step on anything. Which in itself was a task.
He lifted himself onto the waist-high dresser that sat in the center of the room, and looked down at her, he watched her run rampant throughout a never-ending sea of designer clothing.
"Ok, I think I'm good...." She said standing up, stray away curls covered her face and neck, her face flush from all the "work" she was doing. She looked down at the suitcase then up at Drake, then held two thumbs up at him. Drake looked at her thumbs, then at her and paused for a moment his eyebrows slightly up. "You still gotta clean up."
Tae dropped her thumbs as well as her shoulders, looking around the messy closet that she created. She frowned and collapsed in between Drake's legs, her arms around his waist, he looked down at the top of her head and began laughing. "I thought this was Controlled Chaos!?" He said mocking her.
She paused, then finally huffed out air. "Shut up." She replied back. He laughed harder only imagining her facial expressions as she stood with her face buried in his abs.
Christmas was short of two weeks away, and she cringed at how much she had to do. She was flying to New York for a Vogue shoot, but this time she would be in front of the camera, fly back to California and attend some parties, then right back to New York for Christmas, then in Miami for New Years. How was it even possible to do all of this, there wasn't enough time in the world to accomplish what her schedule was looking like. Last time she was this busy she was in her teens flying between Italy, London, and the States appearing on every high-end magazine and walking every runway she could.

If you didn't believe in Global Warming before, you did now. Halfway through December and the only cities having winter was California, Vegas, and Arizona. Tae shook her head at the 60-degree weather in New York, with a 7am call time for hair and makeup, being mesmerized by the climate change wasn't going to get in her way.
Tae walked into the Vogue headquarters, she smiled at the receptionist, who recognize her right away.
"Hello gorgeous! How are you?!" She said standing up from her chair and leaning over the tall black desk to hug her.
Tae pulled her sunglasses from her face and stood on her tippy toes to embrace her. "Hey love, I'm good, tired as shit, but I'm good." Tae said with a smile.
"Oh girl, the day is only beginning." She said back to Tae as she smoothed down her tight pencil skirt before sitting back down in the office chair. "They're all ready for you, Sebastian Kim is already up there." She finished with a smile.
Tae leaned against the stainless steel wall of the elevator, scrolling through her phone checking emails and text messages. The elevator doors slid open, she walked the long hallway, the glossy black marble showing her reflection as she walked, famous photographs hung on the wall some models, some athletes, some actress, and others musicians. She pushed open the doors of Studio B and was immediately pulled into a hug by the famous photographer Sebastian Kim another person who was a big part of her modeling career.
Tae couldn't contain her smile, seeing photographers who shot with her when she was a teenager, being under the bright lights, having hair and makeup done, putting on thousand-dollar designer clothing. All for some photos. She was back in her eliminate.
"Well look who decided to come out of hiding!" He said holding both her hands.
Tae smiled, her cheeks turned bright red. "I've missed you guys."
"I knew you couldn't stay away too long." He said with a warm smile as he released her hands.
She answered more emails and text messages as she sat in the makeup chair, one person stood behind her sectioning off parts of her hair to run a ceramic flatiron through it, another person standing in front of her drawing all over her face. Dark and light contouring lines on her forehead and jawline, as setting powder was caked under her eyes until the excess was ready to be dusted off.
Tae didn't take long for Tae to get back in the grove of modeling, standing in front of the large backdrop, Sebastian giving her little to no guidance one large light beaming down on her as the camera captured her every move and facial expression. She hadn't been in these vogue studios modeling in years. It was safe to say she missed it, she missed the dressing up, the constant changing looks.

"I missed this soooo much!" Tae confessed to her sister.
Sitting in the dimly lit Japanese Sushi restaurant in New York's Soho, Tae and her sister ignored the few paparazzi that stationed themselves outside waiting for them to eventually come out.
"What you mean THIS!?" Toya frowned as she questioned Tae. "You mean Modeling and New York?"
Tae looked down at her plate as she picked up another piece of her salmon and carb sushi roll with her chopsticks.
"Yes! I miss modeling, I miss being in New York!" Tae said before popping the piece of food in her mouth.
"So why did you stop!?" Toya said dipping her food in eel sauce.
"I don't know, I guess it stopped being fun for me. I needed a setting change." Tae replied playing with her chopsticks.
"So what are you going to do, go back and forth between Cali and New York." Toya asked putting the same confused look on her face she had before.
Tae spun the chopstick in between her index and middle finger, she turned looking outside the large window at the few paparazzi that talked amongst each other. "2016 will be the return of modeling." She said with a very confident face.
