Drake sat staring at his phone. Tae stood up in front of him and Oliver. Chubbs and the rest of the crew crowded around looking over Drake's shoulder trying to get a look.
"We ignore it, these things come up all the time. Neither one of you owe the public any type of confirmation of what you two have going on." Oliver said as he focused in on Drake then focused in on Tae. He spoke again as he remained looking at Tae who chewing on the inside of her cheek.
"It will blow over within a few days, sure the paparazzi will be on you two waiting for a "slip up" but it will pass, we ignore it, don't give them anything further to play with and social media will be on to the next story." Oliver specifically focused in on Tae who looked like she was going to be sick.
"Plus I got the surprise mixtape with Future dropping tomorrow night, people will be off this within 48 hours. No problem." Drake chimed in with a smile. Tae was unconvinced her face remained pale. Sure Tae had been in the public for relationships but they were small stories barley even made the surface and that was how she liked it. Tae sat in the chair facing the rest of the crew, her chin resting on her hands, she then ran a hand threw her thick curly hair pulling it from one side of her head to the other side, her knee began to shake.
"That's not the problem." She said as she looked up staring at all of them. Everyone's face twisted up in curiosity.
Once again Tae was thinking further out than anybody. Sure whenever Drake was seen with a woman he was automatically paired with them. Friends or not, and being paired with Drake wasn't the problem. She didn't mind it at all actually, but whenever Drake was seen to be with someone new old flings would surface. Groupie sex stories would appear on those same tacky social sites about their one on one experiences with Drake. Literally telling all about how he was during sex, or how he "tricked off" on them, what he liked and didn't like in bed. Tae ran a hand over the front of her face then looked at them.
"Aubrey and I have the same ex's." Drake looked as if he was trying to put a math problem together. He then looked at Tae as if he realized this may not blow over as fast as he thought, he realized this may have a bigger effect on Tae than he thought.

Work still had to be done. The grand opening of his restaurant Frings was tonight and Drake had to shift his mindset to focus on the opening. Tae stood at the kitchen sink of Drake's mothers Toronto home. Her name was Sandi, she was a small white woman, 5'2 to be exact with teased shoulder-length blonde hair. She and Drake shared the same large nose and the same dark sunken in eyes. She wore all black, a black shall over her shoulders, and black square reading glasses.
"Well, if you would reply to me more Aubrey I wouldn't have to do that!"She said in a small voice, as she handed Tae a wet plate to dry off.
"Mom, please. You gotta stop Googling me. Most of that stuff isn't accurate." Drake replied with his eyes closed, and a hand on his forehead. "Actually... Give me your phone mom!" He spoke again as he held a hand out waiting for her to place it in his palm. She reached into her pocket and pulled the device out placing it in his hand.
"Don't you take off the Google alerts, Aubrey! I need them so I know what you're doing!" She said with a firm tone of voice. Looking at him over the top of her framed reading glasses.
"Oh my god." Drake groaned under his breath as he accessed her phone. "Mom, I'm taking the Google alerts off! I'm putting Tae's number in your phone, so when I can't reply she can let you know what's going. Ok?"
Drake hated his mom googling him, he preferred to always keep her updated personally but it was hard, he was constantly on the move. He'd do his best speak to her on a consistent basis, but sometimes he did fall short. Googling him meant she would see all those nonsense stories about him, and that was the last thing he wanted her to see. Sandi raised Drake on her own as a single mother, he was her only child and it showed she was always worried about him, not that any mother wouldn't worry about their child, but Drake was all Sandi had. Drake's father was definitely a 'Rolling Stone' he wasn't always in his life but he would get Drake to spend the summers with him in Memphis when he could.
"I will always keep you updated Mrs. Graham, no matter what!" Tae gave a genuine smile to Sandi, then shot Drake a frown with a rolling of her eyes right after. Drake gave her a side-eye mouthing "what!?"
Sandi looked between her son and Tae, a warm smile sat on her face. She knew Drake and Tae had something going on, over the past few months Sandi grew to know Tae and she fell fond of her. Not only did she think Tae was beautiful, but she could hold a conversation that didn't only consist of herself. She loved the Tae took care of Drake, not only that but she noticed Tae had a bit of a protective instinct about her when it came to Drake. Sandi had met a few of Drake's past girlfriends or flings that he thought would turn into something and she truly only cared for a good three of them. And that's saying ALOT considering the amount of women Drake was with.
Tae looked at her phone checking the time as she laid the dishtowel on the counter. "We've got to get ready to go now." She looked over at Drake who was already standing smoothing down a fitted army-fatigue shirt she watched as his biceps flexed. She got lost for a moment then quickly snapped herself back to reality before one of them caught her. He wore a grey jacket with light fitted jeans, that were completed with a pair of wheat-colored Tims.
As the SUV pulled to the curb the lights began to flash once again, this time Drake and Tae kept their mouths to themselves. They got a few pecks in when his mother made her way to her room to get her shoes but that was as far as it went. The door was open by security and Drake stepped out. Drake grabbed Tae's hand to help her out. Tae walked along the side of him as he made his way to the front seat to help his mother. Sandi linked her arm with her sons, the screaming from paparazzi came in full effect. Wanting to know if he and Tae were dating, was she his girlfriend, what was the drama between Tae and Draya. It was never-ending questions. Drake looked annoyed his jaw was clenched, he hated that they would ask these things in front of his mother.
More celebrities filled the restaurant. Friends of Drake fellow rappers, actors, family, they all were in attendance. This was a big deal for Drake, other than becoming the ambassador for his NBA home team Toronto Raptors this was another step to building an empire, in his home country, another step to being more than just a Music Mogul but a Business Mogul. This was another step to shaping the OVO brand.

Fanfiction"And Draya, Dollicia ... The rest of them?" Drake asked as his back was turned to her. Tae sat quiet again unsure of what he was really asking, what he really wanted to know that she hadn't already confessed about. "They were a 'at that moment' thin...
