The extended stay in the Dominican Republic was a much need vacation for all of the OVO crew member, but in true Drake fashion he wasn't just there to chill and relax for a minimal amount of time allowing every care and or responsibility leave his mind, he would use a portion of his time to film a music video for a single friend & fellow rapper French Montana had him featured on.

It didn't take long for Drake to be surrounded by the usual imagery of a large name rapper, as much as he hated to admit it but he was truly beginning to see the same people, places, and things, and the problem in that is he had no one to share it with he had no one to live out these moments of life with, at least not the way he wanted. Sure he could close his eyes and scroll his phone and stop on whatever supermodel, video vixen's name he had stored away for a rainy day to come out to the beautiful island and share the magnificent views with, but it would literally mean nothing for him a waste of time. These women he spent hours singing and rapping about no longer fueled him, no longer entertained him. He had gotten a taste of the good life with Tae and was frantically trying to figure out how to get it back before he lost his mind.

Publicly dumping Rihanna was the first step he needed to take in order to get Tae's attention back on him. These two women were just as alike as much as they were different. Both women waited for no man to get his act together they had no problem with leaving if he could shape up, both women didn't rely on the likes or attention of a man to fuel their need to keep going in life, both women were very content on being alone they had no problem with it. They even seemed to enjoy their alone time having so much confidence in themselves and their sexuality the male attention wasn't even looked for. Both women seemed to pour more of their heart into their work than into a personal relationship. With Drake publicly dismissing Rihanna in the form of an apology letter to Tae would leave one woman trying to figure out how & when she lost her power over him and the other trying to figure out when and where was the perfect time to finally open back up to him.

"Still a no show?" Oliver asked stepping down and taking a seat next to Drake on the pool steps. He was silent, slow to answer his friend and manager.

"I think I really blew it this time, I think the bridge is finally burnt." Drake said squinting his eyes against the bright sun. He looked down at the pool of water around his ankles, small ripples waved back and forth the water-sensitive to any move big or small.

"You can say that fire lit the way?" Oliver asked yet suggested at the same time.

"That's not what I wanted though, I didn't want things bad with her. If her and I had to end like this!... not speaking on positive terms... simple conversation... then I never would of did the music with Ri. I would of considered Tae's feelings... taken them more seriously." He spoke leaning into each word making sure Oliver understood his point of view.

"Girl, this is a whole free ass vacation!" Shod said pressing his back against the wooden headboard of Tae's bed

"Girl, this is a whole free ass vacation!" Shod said pressing his back against the wooden headboard of Tae's bed. He looked at the ticket information then back down at her. Tae seemed to be more concerned with the brightly colored cartoon and the individual-sized pizza from one of the many local New York pizzerias than debating on if she wanted to reconcile with Drake or not.

"I'm not going. I have shit to do here." Tae confessed then took another bite of the pizza slice.

"Fashion week is over, you ain't got a damn thing to do for the next two weeks." He eyed her with a frown, sitting up straight Shod was ready to deflect any and every excuse she was going to toss out.

"I have to get ready for next years fashion week." She said keeping her eyes on the flat screen tv.

"Tae!" He rolled his eyes and looked at her for several minutes. "This man dropping plane tickets on private jets to fly yo ass across the world the least you could do is talk to him..."

"I'm not one of his little stripper flings he takes on a quick vacation, I ain't falling in that category! I'm actually insulted, he was better off just coming up and talking to me." Tae mumbled with a frown picking off pepperoni from her slice of pizza. "... And talk to him about what..."

"You know damn well that man don't think of you like that! That's bullshit The man embarrassed Rihanna, LIVE. On stage. In front of a crowd of over a thousand people! Bitch how you embarrass Rihanna!? It's fucking Rihanna! The least you could do is talk to him, give him that much. Get a free vacation out of it! Shit." He fussed at her, talking with his hands for more expression as if he needed it. "Hell, if you don't go. I'll go. I need to work on my tan anyway."

Tae sat in her silence not really knowing what to do. Not knowing if she should simply call him, thanking him for the trip and gesture but simply decline his offer or actually go so she could simply deny him in person while they overlooked a beautiful sunset on a beach eating fresh fruits. "Right, like he wanna see you walking off that jet." Tae said rolling her eyes.

"Bitch whatever. I'm cute. Don't try me." Shod said sticking his nose up and tilting his head back, he fixed the collar of his plush white robe and crossed his legs.
