40 eventually talked Drake into getting some rest, though it took him almost an hour to close his eyes. Drake's thoughts wondered at the fact that once again 40 was right. The conversation kept replaying in his head. A woman not needing him, his popularity, his cosign or shadow, it was a turn on. Seeing Tae in a position of power, seeing her handle business, calling shoots, giving orders did something to him, yet was intimidating at the same time. It did show him that she didn't need him, and that didn't sit well with him. Drake laid on his back staring at the ceiling of his master bedroom until sleep eventually took over him.

"You're not staying in this house while I'm gone. You finished your work for Kimora, so there's no reason for you to continue to sit in this damn house sulking." Jaz yelled from her bathroom as she applied liquid foundation to her face.
"I don't feel like getting dressed up for anything, I wanna eat and sleep." Tae yelled back, she laid on her back, her legs and arms sprawled out across her friend's bed.
"Bitch! You been eatin all day! Get dressed." Jaz demanded not taking no for an answer. Tae groaned in frustration as Jaz entered her bedroom pulling Tae by the hands helping her sit up. "You're not sitting in this house while all your friends go and hang out. You're going and you're going to smile, and laugh and post pics on your IG and be happy. Do you hear me." Jaz mocked Tae with a mothering tone, Tae frowned at her friend and huffed air from her nose.
"Fine...... But I'm not going to like it. I'm telling everybody you forced me." Tae said back to Jaz with a serious face.
"Girl ion care. Go get dressed." Jaz said as she waved Tae off walking back into the bathroom to finish her makeup.
Tae stood in the guest bathroom, fluffing her hair, she pulled it from one side to the other. It was a tamed mess. She smoothed down the high waisted skin-tight nude colored skirt that went past her knees. She bent down to finish adjusting the strap of her heels. She turned and walked down the carpeted stairs to the front door, she made sure to look unhappy and unamused so that Jazmine knew she didn't want to go, but it was no use. She rolled her eyes at Tae and grabbed her hand pulling her out the front door and to the car.
Tae tried to look as mad as she could as she sat in the dimly lit restaurant table with Jazmine and three other best friends, but she could only hold up the act for so long. She busted out in laughter as the women made fun of her scrunched up face, she couldn't help but laugh at herself at how childish she was being
"Y'all lucky y'all my best friends or I would of fought everyone of y'all for making fun of me." Tae said through a smile as she picked up chicken with her fork, closing her eyes with an attitude.
"Girl, ain't nobody scared of you!" Eva said as she rolled her eyes, Eva was another beautiful model who made her name for winning the first season of Tyra Banks's hit show 'Americans Next Top Model' Tae rolled her eyes and smacked her lips at her friend and continued eating. "You lucky WE'RE your best friends or we would of let yo ass sulk at Jazmine's house!"
"Oh my god! I wasn't sulking! I was tired! Uugghhhh!" Tae yelled back at Eva pointing her fork at her. Eva gave her a stale face as she mouthed the words bullshit.

Steam pushed itself out as Drake opened his shower door, he stepped onto the white plush rug grabbing the towel he laid on the counter he wrapped it around his waist securing it in the front. He stood in front of the steam covered mirror and grabbed his phone. He pulled up his message to finally answer people back. Since he released Tae as his personal assistant he was back to handling his own business, he finalized dates and times from business deals and up and coming shows.
If there was one thing Drake was horrible at it was texting. People always saw him on his phone and they assumed he was talking to people, but in actuality, he was scrolling through social media or typing out lyrics, or weird words he heard his friends say. He sometimes used these for inspiration. To spark a topic or theme of a song. As he finally texted people back, he looked at Tae's name in his phone, she had yet to text him back, it was going on two days soon to be three and she still said nothing even after he explained himself.
He closed out his messages and opened his Instagram, he scrolled down his feed liking photos he was tagged in, fan art, other artists, among other random photos, he smiled as fans began to count down the days to his birthday. He made sure he liked every photo that he was tagged in. He stopped at the sight of Tae finally posting a photo. She stood dressed up behind a beautiful high yellow woman with short lavender hair, her arm draped across the woman's chest.
He knew the women as Jazmine one of Tae's best friends. He clicked on her IG name that was tagged in the photo. The first photo that caught his eye was of Tae sitting on the floor of someone's house which he assumed to be Jazmine's with the caption 'Bae's Home 😊' Drake smiled at the photos of her, and the fact that he now knew who she was with. Drake liked the photos then closed the app turning the screen off. He got dressed and made his way back to the studio.
"You look a lot less dead, good to have you back." 40 said as he turned the half-finished beat down.
I feel better, I'm good, I'm good." Drake said putting a small smile on his face as he sat down on the couch. 40 swiveled the chair to face his friend his eyebrow went up as he tilted his head.
"What are you going to do!?" 40 asked with curiosity and a knowing look on his face he squinted his eyes. Drake smiled as he leaned back on the couch and released a heavy sigh that he had been holding on to for 2 days.

Fanfiction"And Draya, Dollicia ... The rest of them?" Drake asked as his back was turned to her. Tae sat quiet again unsure of what he was really asking, what he really wanted to know that she hadn't already confessed about. "They were a 'at that moment' thin...
