I woke up to the smell of bacon, eggs, and buttermilk pancakes. My stomach began rumbling after my nose collided with the smell of breakfast. So I rushed out of bed, and ran downstairs.

Justin's POV

I heard footsteps rush downstairs, so I quickly knew that was Kacey. I watched as she walked over to me. "Good morning, Kacey. How'd you sleep?" I asked her.

"Morning. I slept okay, you?" She replied.

"Same here." I stared at her for a moment, then she said, "What? Is there something wrong?"

"No. I'm just admiring how beautiful you are." Did I really say that..?

I can't believe I said that to her. "Thanks. I've never had anyone say that to me."

"Really? So you've never been, in love before?"

"To answer your question, no, I haven't."

"Oh. I mean, someone should have taken you out on a date before, you're such a cool person."

"I know, thanks." I noticed her blushing.

"Anyways, want breakfast?"

"Sure."

Kacey's POV

I was still blushing at the fact Justin said I was beautiful.  I pushed the thought away and ate the rest of my pancake. I finished and put my plate in the sink.

I was about to walk upstairs, until I felt someone grab my hand. "Kacey, can I show you something?" I turned around and noticed it was Justin that grabbed my hand.

"What do you want to show me?" I asked.

"I wanted to play a song for you."

"You wrote a song, about me?"

"Yeah. I'm not really finished with it, but-"

"I don't care! I wanna hear it!"

"Okay, then. Follow me." I followed him to another room on the other side of the house. When we walked in, there was a piano sitting there.

"Sit here." Justin said, as he sat down on the piano bench, then patted the spot beside him.

"Okay." I sat down beside him and he began to press his fingers on the keys.

Frequencies so low

Heart on a string

A string that only plays solos

Rain made of echoes

Tidal wave rushing on and on

Under the water you scream so loud but the silence surrounds you

But I hear it loud and you fall in the deep and I'll always find you

If my red eyes don't see you anymore

And I can't hear you through the white noise

Just send your heartbeat

I'll go to the blue ocean floor

Where they'll find us no more

On that blue ocean floor

On that blue ocean floor

On that blue ocean floor

On that blue ocean floor

On that blue ocean floor

Shell made out of gold

Found on a beach,

Picked up and you held so close

Rain washed out its glow,

Heart beats steady, leads me down below

And under the water you scream so loud but the silence surrounds you

But I hear it loud and you fall in the deep and I'll always find you

If my red eyes don't see you anymore

And I can't hear you through the white noise

Just send your heartbeat

I'll go to the blue ocean floor

Where they'll find us no more

On that blue ocean floor

On that blue ocean floor

On that blue ocean floor

On that blue ocean floor

On that blue ocean floor

20,000 leagues away, catch up to you on the same day

Travel at the speed of light, thinking the same thought at the same time

Heart beats at a steady pace, I'll let the rhythm show me the way

No one can find us here, fade out and disappear

If my red eyes don't see you anymore

And I can't hear you through the white noise

Just send your heartbeat

I'll go to the blue ocean floor

Where they'll find us no more

On that blue ocean floor

On that blue ocean floor

On that blue ocean floor

On that blue ocean floor

On that blue ocean floor

"So, did you like it?" Justin asked.

"I loved it. Thank you so much." I kissed his cheek, which made him blush a bit.

"Aw, it's no problem. I'm glad you liked it." He grinned. We just sat there, staring each other, until I broke the silence.

"Well, I'm gonna go.." I said, and proceeded to get up from the piano bench. "Wait!" Justin shouted, and held me back.

"What it is now..?" I asked, turning around the face him.

"There's something I wanted to tell you."

"What is it?"

"When I said you were beautiful, I really meant that. I think I might be falling for you."

"But Justin, we just met like, 4 days ago."

"I know, but, I feel like I've known you for decades."

"Oh.." I noticed he was leaning into my lips, and I felt his lips crash into mine.

He did not just kiss me.

I finally felt the urge to kiss him back, even though it was pretty early. After about a minute, we broke apart.

"That's how much you mean to me, Kacey. But I'm not ready to ask you to be my girlfriend yet." He smirked.

"We'll just have to see about that.."
