After I got back from Justin's hotel room, a guy I met the other day, Adam texted me.

Hey, do you want to hang out?

I smiled at his text.

Sure. I'd love to.

I went straight to my closet and pulled out a black crop top and some white jean shorts. "This looks great." I said, while looking at my reflection in the mirror. I fixed my hair, put on some makeup, and headed out the door.

I drove to the nearest Starbucks, cause that's where he said he'd meet me. I parked my car and went inside. I walked to the far back of the coffee shop, to where he was sitting alone in a booth. I sat down in the spot in front of him. "Hey there." I said, smiling. "Oh, hey! I didn't notice you." He laughed. "Well, now you have."

"Did you want something?" He glanced at the menu. "Yeah, um, I want a caramel frappuccino." (Sorry if I spelled it wrong, I absolutely don't know how to spell it.) "Okay." He got up and went to order. I just pulled out my phone and saw I got a text.

Justin ✨❤️: Hey. Can we hang out?

When I was about to reply, Adam came back. I quickly locked my phone's screen and put it down. "I'm back. Who were you texting?" He asked.

"Oh. A friend from work. She needed advice." I lied. He just nodded. "Nice." My phone buzzed again, I just ignored it. "So, wanna go to the beach? I just bought a new beach house, it'd be cool if you saw it." Adam spoke.

"Um, sure." I said, with a fake smile plastered onto my face. "Great." We got up and left the coffee shop.

//the beach//
We had made it to Adam's beach house, and I had to say it was pretty cool. "You bought a pretty nice place. Do you know if you'll stay in it often?" I asked, sitting down in a nearby beach chair.

"Thanks. Eh, I don't know. Maybe a little more during the summer, but any other time probably not at all." He replie, glancing at the shining sun, then back down.

"We should take a picture. You want to?" I asked him. He quickly perked up. "Cool. Why not?" I pulled out my phone, and we took the picture—then I uploaded it to Instagram.

@kaceyjennings: got to hang out with this cool dude today! 😄

"Wanna take a walk?" Adam asked me after we took the picture. "I'd love to!" I happily replied. We both walked out of the beach house onto the warm sand. I took my shoes off to where it would feel even better, Adam did the same. He put his arm around my shoulder, and I put mine around his waist.

"This is beautiful," He whispered in my ear. "Just like you." I just blushed. "Thank you." I smiled at him.

By the time our walk was over, it was almost 8pm. "I should get going," I said, gathering my things. "No, please stay." Adam whimpered. "I'm sorry, but I can't." He looked down in sadness, but he just nodded. "Okay. I'll see you later." He came over to where I was and put his arms around my waist, and kissed my cheek. "Bye."

I waved to him, and went to my car—and drove all the way home.

Soon as I got back, I saw my phone's screen light up. I looked at it, and saw it was from Justin.

Justin ✨❤️: What the fuck were you doing with that little guy friend of yours? I hope you're not fucking him now.
