Ch. 21

I woke up the next morning, tangled up in Adam's arms. "Wake up, sleepyhead." I kissed his nose. I heard him giggle. "Morning." He picked up my hand and kissed it. I just blushed. "So what do you want to do today?"

"Umm, I don't know. We could go the mall or something." I smiled.

"Ugh! Not the mall.."

"C'mon, it'll be fun." 

He just sighed. "Okay, fine." I watched as he climbed out of bed, with nothing but sweatpants on - then let out a huge yawn.

"Well, I'm gonna go get ready." I grabbed my clothes and went to the bathroom to take a shower.

We finally got to the mall, but we decided to get something to eat first since it was noon already. 

"So, um, do you have any siblings, by the way?" I asked him, a few minutes after we had been seated at a table. "Well, I only have a sister. You?" Adam replied.

"Nope. I'm an only child." I answered.

"Oh. Was it hard it all being the only child when you were younger?" 

"Eh, sometimes. But usually I got along well with both of my parents. And hey, what's your sister's name, by the way?"

"Shelby." That name repeated in my head, then I froze for a second. "Kacey? You okay?" Adam waved his hand in front of my face, then I snapped back to normal.

"Y-You said your sister's name was Shelby?" I asked him once again. "Yeah, is there a problem?"

"Yes! A big problem! Your sister probably set you up! She told me one time then when Justin and I break up, she was gonna go after him. I-I shouldn't even be with you! I bet she's with him right now. I'm sorry, I just can't hang up with you anymore!" I got up from the table and walked off. I could hear Adam shouting for me to come back.

I climbed into my car, and as quickly as I could, I drove back to the house.

Justin's POV

I was just about to go to the studio when I heard a knock at the door. I looked out the window first to see who it was, and it was Kacey. I don't know why she would be here.

I opened the door, and she quickly came running in. Tears were streaming down her face, so I put my arm around to try and comfort her. "Hey, what's wrong?" I asked her.

Her head was buried into my chest, so when she spoke it was muffled. "J-Justin, remember Shelby, right?" She asked me. "Yeah." I replied. "What about her?"

"Well, she's Adam's sister. I'm pretty sure she set him up to get with me, so she could have a chance with you. While you were gone, she told me that when we break up, she would get with you." She explained.

"That makes sense. I knew she was up to something. I saw her the other day and she kept giving me dirty looks."

"I think she was trying to break us up.." She sighed.

"Mhm." After that, the doorbell rang. I went over to the door to answer it, and you wouldn't believe who was at the door..

Ooooh who do you think is at the door...
