Kacey's POV - one week later
"You're engaged? Are you serious?" Ashlynn repeated after I had told her I had recently gotten engaged.
"Yes," I nodded. "I'm engaged. And I want you to be my maid of honor!" I exclaimed. "Really? I'd be honored to! But when do you plan on getting married?"
I paused to decide when, but Justin and I haven't thought of when to. Maybe sometime next year. "Hopefully next year. It's only December."
"Yeah. Should I start making invitations?"
"Woah, slow down Ashlynn! We'll get to that, I promise." I laughed. "Ha, okay then!"
Justin's POV
"Jimmy, I want you to be my best man for my wedding." I told Jimmy on the phone, while I was writing some ideas down.
"Really, man? I'd love to! But where's is the wedding going to be?" He said, excitedly over the line.
"Um, Kacey and I haven't thought of a location yet, but I was thinking about Italy. I'll see if she likes my idea whenever she gets back."
"Oh, okay. Well congratulations on your engagement, man. I know you and Kacey will have a wonderful life together as a married couple."
"Thanks, Jimmy. I really appreciate it. And, one last thing,"
"Yeah?"
"Please don't interrupt my wedding speech. Just, don't."
"I'm not making any promises, ha. I'll call you later."
"K, bye." then the line disconnected from us both hanging up. As soon I hung up I heard the doorbell ring. I got up from the table and walked over to the door, unlocking it. "Hey future wifey." I said when Kacey walked through the door. "Hey husband-to-be." She smiled, then we shared a quick kiss.
"While you were gone, I was thinking of places where we could have the wedding," I said, closing the door and locking it.
"Really? What did you come up with?" She turned to me after putting her car keys on the table.
"I was thinking about Italy, but I'm not so sure."
"Italy is perfect! I've always wanted to go." Kacey grinned. "But what about the decorations, especially the cake."
"Don't worry. We'll take care of it." I put my arm around her back, and pulled her closer to me. "I can't wait for us to get married, and maybe have children."
"I'm not so sure about kids yet, though." She spoke, scratching her head. I looked at her in shock. "Baby, you'll be the best mother ever." I reassured.
"I guess so. Would you want a boy or a girl?" She asked.
"I guess, um, a boy. I'd want him to be just like me." I grinned. Kacey playfully hit me on my shoulder. "Hey! What was that for?"
"Why would you him to be just like you?" she laughed. "Because, wouldn't it be nice to have a child just like you?"
"Yeah, you're right. What would you name him?"
"Silas. That was my grandfather's middle name."
"Aw, that's nice. It's a cute name too."
"Yep. But the big thing is that I would want is our children to be healthy. And maybe a little spoiled."
"Hell no." Kacey got up, making a disgusted expression. "No one is going to be spoiled. Nobody. Not even you."
"What the hell? What's wrong with being spoiled?" I asked, confusedly.
"I just think that being spoiled ruins your personality. I think it'll make you stuck up or something like that."
"That's what you think, I'm still spoiling our kids no matter what."
"You do that."
HOW WAS THAT? horrible ik.
