The brunette sat on the toilet seat, clutching the pregnancy test in her hand. Kacey had been trying to get pregnant for a while, she wanted a baby as bad as her husband Justin did.
She stared off into space, until a beeping sound interrupted her thoughts. Looking down as fast as she could, she stared at the screen showing "Pregnant". Kacey rubbed her eyes to check one more time, just to be sure.
Pregnant.
Shocked by the results, she happily screamed, quickly leaving the bathroom and running to the bedroom. Not caring that her partner was sleeping, Kacey shook Justin - making him sit up and rub his eyes. "What is it?" he slurred while running his hand through his hair. "We're gonna have a baby! Look," she exclaimed before handing her spouse the pregnancy test. "Oh my god."
"I've got to call Ashlynn, I'll be right back." she left the room to go grab her phone out of the bathroom and proceeded to dial her number. The phone rang for a few seconds, then she picked up. "Hello?" she said.
"Ashlynn! You're going to be an aunt!" The ecstatic brunette squealed through the phone. "Shit." she rolled her eyes. "Aren't you not happy?"
"Not happy? I'm not even close to being not happy! I'm shocked! I need to start thinking of baby names."
"I know, Justin and I both are."
"Do you want me to come over?"
"Sure, if you want." then we both hung up the phone. "Oh my fucking gosh, I can't believe we're having a baby!" Kacey screamed again. "I know, babe. Just think about it. I'm still spoiling he or she, though. Like I said a few months ago." Her husband added.
"Hell no- I mean, well, yeah. I guess we can spoil he or she. A bit, and I mean it." she replied.
"Are we seriously going to go through this again, cause if we are I'm going to back to sleep." He laughed.
"Still, spoiled or not. Our baby is going to be have a great life."
"More like a spoiled life."
"Shut the fuck up, Justin!" Kacey threw a pillow at him and burst out laughing.
