After I heard Shelby leave to go somewhere, I quickly dialed Kacey's number and called her.
"Yeah?" She answered. She sounded like she was had been crying. "Hey, you sound upset." I said.
"I am, I'm pretty sure I just got dumped," I sighed. "Well, did you want to come over?"
"But isn't Shelby there? If she is, I don't think it'd be a good idea."
"No, she just left. Besides, I have to tell you something."
"Why can't you tell me now?"
"It's important. Just come."
I heard her laugh. "Okay, then."

About 15 minutes later, Kacey finally got here. I heard the doorbell ring, and I got up to answer it. "Hey." She smiled at me when I opened the door.
"Hey." I returned a smile back, then I moved to the side to let her in. "So, was there something you wanted to tell me?"
"Yeah. You remember what happened the other night, do you?" She nodded in response. "Well, I was being a dumbass for getting with Shelby. I pretended to love her, so she wouldn't get mad at me - and possibly try to hurt you. Even though we broke up, I still want to get back with you. I can't stand not having you here with me - in my arms. And about that picture we took, she wanted that picture. I didn't. I know that sounds pretty stupid but that's what happened," I bit my bottom lip. She just smiled and laughed.
"But, I don't want her. I want you, and only you. So, will you be my girlfriend again?" Kacey froze for a bit, then happily accepted. "Of course!"
I grinned, and pulled her into a hug. "I love you." I heard her whisper. I kissed her forehead, then whispered back, "I love you, too." - then leaned down to give her a passionate kiss. I felt her arms wrap around my neck, then I moved mine down to her waist.
About almost three minutes later, I heard the door open. I knew it was Shelby, so I didn't care at all if she saw Kacey and I.
"FUCK!" I heard Shelby shout. "Ugh, I'm so done!" she left, slamming the door behind her.
"I'm so glad she saw that." Kacey told me when we broke away. "I know. I don't think she'll want me anymore after that."
