Kacey's POV
8:00 pm
I was sitting backstage while Justin performed in front of about 20,000 people. I would open the door to the stage a bit some times, just to see what he was doing. After I closed the door, I sat down in a nearby chair and texted Ashlynn. I hadn't talked to her in a while since I left.
Hey. What's up?
Hey Kace. Nothing, just watching some tv.
Oh. How's the newspaper doing?
A little better. We just recently hired another writer, and he's super cute. I don't think he's into me, though.
Does he come and talk to you sometimes?
Yeah. About five times a day, I guess.
Then he probably wants to get to know you. Maybe you ask him if he would like to go out sometime.
Yeah, I'll try that. Thanks c:
No problem. I've gotta go now, ttyl
Bye c;
10:30 pm
After, we decided to go out for a walk around the city. "But it's like, pitch black outside." I said.
"Doesn't stop me. Besides, if you're scared, I'll be right next to you." Justin smiled. That made me feel a little better about going out. "Okay." He grabbed my hand and we left.
---I was looking around at all the skyscrapers above, I was fascinated by all of them. "I really love it here." I said, grinning. "I do too, but I love you more." Justin said. We were about to kiss when we were interrupted by a female voice. "Hey!" I looked at the girl standing in front of us. She looked familiar. That's when I realized she was the girl from that party we went to.
"Oh. Hey Shelby." Justin smiled at her. I felt a little uncomfortable around her. I turned to Justin and asked, "Who is she?"
"Kacey, this is Shelby." I glared at her. "It's nice to meet you." She held out her hand to shake. I slowly shook it. "..you too." I silently replied.
"Well, it was nice running into you again." Justin said to Shelby. "Yeah, you too." She winked at him, then they hugged. I watched as she walked the other way, away from us.
Then, Justin turned to me. "Babe? You don't look okay."
"Maybe cause I'm not. I wanna talk to you when we get back in the room."

"What did you want to talk about?" Justin asked me, as soon as we got back into the hotel room.
"About that girl. Do you like her, too?" I asked.
"No! I don't like her at all."
"Then are you two friends or something?" He was silent for a second.
"She's my best friend." I stared at him for a second. "You're, you're best friends with her?"
"Yes, but it's not what you think. We're not going out. I want you, and only you." He put his arms around me, but I pulled him off of me. "You're lying, aren't you?"
"If I was lying, would I do this?" He kissed me passionately, while he slipped his hands into my pants. I put my arms around his neck, and kissed him back. He departed from my lips and stared at me.
"..do you really mean what you said?" I asked, surprised.
"Yes." He replied.
"Okay, I believe you."
