Randy's POV:
Back at the shack the next day, I tell Ford and Dipper about the monster. They glance at each other and flip through the pages of their journals.
"What color of eyes? Yellow?" Ford asks. I shake my head.
"Bright Aqua," I say simply. I pace back and forth, annoyed. They had been prodding me and Y/N for answers of what the Beast was when we really hadn't seen much of it. Dipper flipped through some books I had borrowed from the library. I saw him shiver a little, but when he caught my stare. He straightened up and continued to focus on the books. "Yeah. It had attacked a girl. She wasn't coming back after that," Y/N said quietly, blinking at the floor. Ford wrote that down and nodded, glancing at Dipper for any head way on the Beast's background. He shook his head and flipped through the pages again. We sat there, the fire warm and the wind above us howling like wolves. I opened my mouth to say something to Y/N when Dipper gasped and stared wide-eyed at a page. I looked at the spine of the book and saw the striking word "Supernatural." "What is it?" Ford asked, jumping up from his seat.
"I... I think it's a demon... from Bill's portal," Dipper whispered with fear. Tears outlined his bottom eyelid. Y/N got up and looked at the picture. A large furry creature with large paws and sharp narrowed eyes was depicted on the page. Black scribbles were drawn to a small caption picture of long sharp teeth. Then another went to short, dull claws. "The main weapons for this monster are it's teeth and ability to turn invisible," the caption read.Y/N's POV:
I gasped. "That's what's been making the noise in the forest," you whisper.
"These demonistic type creatures often travel in large packs. But, the likelihood of seeing one of these are very low." My eyes widened and I felt the cold of winter mix with the numbing pain of my fear. Dipper slammed the book shut. You put your hand out to Dippers shoulder. He starts to shiver. Ford stares at him, worry flashing in his eyes.
"It's ok, Dipper," you say softly, the wind muffling your voice. Dipper whips his face towards you, anger and fear crashing in his eyes. "It is not ok!" he raged. You reach out your hand to touch his shoulder, but he runs away into the cold winter.
"I'll bring him back," you say before leaving. The snow is thick and is hard to run through. The dark silver footprints of Dipper's own footprints mapped out where he was going. But there were white flakes drifting down from the sky. You cursed quietly in you head that the snow was going to cover up the foot prints.
Suddenly, I heard someone crying. It was coming from a grove of pines that I had past just seconds ago. I glanced back and saw a tint of red there. Cold fear rose goose bumps on my arms and legs. I walked forward, my fear growing and growing with each step.Dipper's POV:
"Don't look back! Don't look back!" I huff as I run through the cold frosted snow. I heard Y/N gasping behind me and the crunching of the snow as she ran after me. But I had to keep going. To get out of here. After moments of running, I couldn't hear Y/N's breath or footsteps anymore.
I looked behind me and saw the snow drifts up against the dark green of the pines. I could now clearly feel the cold seep into my skin and bones. I shiver and walk over to a large pine tree and crawled under it for warmth. I felt my limbs start to freeze where they lay. My breathe was coming in slow, puffing clouds. "It's... far better... if... if they l... left me... here," I shivered. I held the journal I had taken with me to my chest and started to drift off into sleep.I woke up in a barren landscape with no trees. I sat up, the journal in my hands. "H-Hello?" I stuttered. No answer. "Dipppppperrrrr... Helllppp... Pleeeeeaaase..." A voice whispered from somewhere. I glanced around, looking for the source. Suddenly, a firm hand grabbed my shoulder and twisted me around. "Hey, there Pine Tree!" A tall figure with golden hair, dressed in black and gold, was standing there, eyes glowing. I instantly knew who it was!
"Bill! But... how...?"
"Refiguring, Pines. What are you doing out in this storm of white?" he questioned with a grin. I could hardly figure the look of Bill with a mouth. It was weird. I shoved him away. "Who was calling my name," I demanded. Bill walked around me, an all-knowing grin on his face. I just wanted to smack that stupid thing off of his face.Y/N's POV: (SHORT!!)
The crying was soft, almost like they didn't want to cry. You see a pine that has been ruffled from the snow. You swallow, preparing myself for the worst. You lift the branches up and curled up is Dipper. He's clutching the journal to his chest tightly, like he was afraid to loose it. "Dipper..." you whisper, shaking him. No response. "Dipper. Wake up," you say louder. Sill no response. You finally gripped his shoulders and started shaking him vigorously. "DIPPER!!"
Then his eyes open a very small bit. Their pure white, almost like the snow. Oh, God! You start to walk out to the middle of the forest. "NINNNNJJAA!!!" you scream.Randy's POV: (SHORT!!)
Before I know it, I'm running through the snow, listening to the echoing cries from Y/N's call for help. The white snow is blinding against the dark green pines. "Y/N! Where are you?" I yell, landing on a tree branch. There's someone huffing for breath and I see Y/N walking towards me with Dipper on her back. "Y/N!" I say, coming to land in front of her.
She smiles at me but it drops away to a sorrowful look to Dipper. "I... I don't know what happened," She said. "He ran out on me and my friends and... I found him like this." I nodded, but felt like I was helpless in this situation. I grabbed Dipper from Y/N's back and started walking for town. It was pretty far, but Y/N stayed with me the whole way.
Every so often I would l look back at Y/N and see tears cascading down her face. I wanted to help... But I couldn't.Y/N's POV:
Oh, my god. Oh, my god. What happens if we don't get there in time? What's the Ninja going to do? All these questions raced around and around in my mind and made my fear grow with every second we walked in the snow. I shivered and let the tears come down silently. "You ok, Y/N?" Ninja asked. His dark blue eyes shone with emotion and sympathy for me. I nodded and rubbed my nose, looking away.
"I'm sorry about your friend... Maybe if we find a safe place, I can see what I can do," he said. I nodded and let a few more tears ripple down. A gust of wind flew past us and I wiped away the tears that had started to freeze to my face. When I looked back at Dipper, something wasn't right about him. His forehead seemed to be stained with yellow... and glowing! I placed my hand on Ninja's shoulder. "Wait!" I gasped. I nodded over towards a tall pine tree and we went under it to get out of the cold. "What is it?" Ninja asked, sounding alarmed.
I reached forward and lifted Dipper's chestnut brown hair to see what was glowing. All I saw was the outline of a yellow triangle.
