Y/N's POV:

We crept inside the building through a small doorway. We had to keep absolutely silent. No footsteps, nothing. Just us. "What your position?" Myst whispered in the earpiece.
"North. Not far from where you are," Blue whispered back. She looks back at me and Reaper and nods upwards. A trap door that led to the ventilation in the building. We nod back and get through the trap door, helping each other. We were finally working as a team. Well, I mean... I guess these guys knew each other before me, so their probably used to this. We crawled through the vents, hearing voices down below us of men who seemed older, in their mid 20's or so. "What about prisoner 56?"
"Yeah, that stupid kid..."
"Can't wait to finish them off... those brats have caused... for us anyways..."
The words stung as we crawled along. The metal was cold and it was dark, but windows of light streamed in through shafts and air blasted through those small shafts. "Not much farther," Reaper whispered. I nodded and we crawled a little more into the darkness. Another trap door appeared in the floor. Below it Flare and Myst stood there, meditating. Reaper unlatched the trap door and dropped down silently. Blue was next, then me. "Anything from Sakira or Esmerelda?" Reaper asked. Flare opened her eyes and nodded.
"Sakira said she's going to the South training bay. Esmerelda is headed North. And we've just gotten a signal from Carrisa's monitor. She's here... Somewhere," Myst said. Blue pulled up the hologram and searched our location. We were in the North training bay... where Esmerelda and the others were headed.
"Everyone, stay calm. Just hide and take out the guards quietly. Understandable?" Blue whispered. We all nodded and ran opposite ways. My heart was the only thing I could hear for a while. It felt like it was about to pound out of my chest and jump around the place. I closed my eyes and took in a few deep breathes. I had to keep calm. For Randy!
Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaak! The door was open. Kids about our age filed in. They stood in rows of ten per row. There were guards, 15 at most. How were we gonna get them all?! I glanced over across the way and saw Blue. She was next to Myst. Myst had her eyes closed. Mind reader..., I thought. I took in another deep breathe and waited for a signal. Blue glanced my way, holding up the number 3. 2. 1.
Reaper stood from where he hid behind a wall of gray. Kids gasped and started smiling. Hope... They still have hope! "You there! What are you doing here? Who are you?" one of the guards said, pointing a gun at Reaper. Reaper nodded to Blue and she stood up. Myst stood. Soon, we were all standing in a line and walking towards the guards and the children. Blue was the first one to stop in our group. It was all happening so fast! Were we gonna kill them?
Blue unsheathed her sword and pointed it towards the guards in front of us. "Answer us. You are on the grounds of the Reformation Facility. You have no right to be here. Leave and surrender now, before we kill you all," another guard said, coming to stand with the other guard.
"You stand on false truths here. You have been corrupted by the evil mind that tempts you to follow them. Either stand down, and help us. Or fail and see the truth with the pain of what you have done," Blue said strongly. She wasn't going to let them take us alive or without a fight. There was no way. She stared, unflinchingly at the guards. Reaper unsheathed his own sword, Myst doing the same, before I knew it we all had our swords pointed at the guards.
"Leave them alone!" A girl said. Her eyes were emerald green, her hair was black with swirls of orange in them. "They speak the truth. Listen to-"
"SHUT THE HELL UP!!" A guard yelled, turning and slamming his gun to the side of her head. She fell to the ground. I stared wide eyed at the guard. My heartbeat wasn't the only thing that pounded in my mind. It was now our feet pounding towards our fates. Together we stand, united we fall.
