Y/N's POV:

"Y/N! It's time to get up!" I open my sleepy eyes and roll over on my side. Nooooouuuuu... Let me sleep forever. I think desperately. "Y/N, I'm not asking. Get. Up." I sigh and sit up in my bed and stretch my arms to the ceiling. I walked out of my room and got in the shower. After that, I got into a pair of black skinny jeans, a dark red t-shirt with black and white stripes on it, and slipped into my high top converse shoes. I walked out of the bathroom and grabbed my pure white hoodie with gray and very light blue dots on it. It suits me. I thought with a smile.
The smell of pancakes filled the air as I went downstairs for breakfast. "Wow, mom. You're pulling out all the stops today, huh?" I asked. She smiled at me and I sat down at the table. She came over with the pancakes and kissed the top of my head. I gasped when I saw there were chocolate chips in the pancakes. I knew from the very bringing of today, that it was gonna be the best day ever!
The sun outside was bright and warm, almost a perfect day. I skipped and ran and just did whatever made me happy. When I got to school, I didn't see Randy or Howard waiting for me. Guess they were already in class or something. Whatever. I walked down the halls, saying hi to my friends. I grabbed my stuff and shut my locker before running into someone. We both dropped some of our things, kinda saying, "Whoa!" at the same time.
"I'm sorry!" the girl said picking up books and papers that had flown to the ground. I smiled at her and realized that I hadn't seen her around before. We both stopped and looked at each other. "You're new around here, right?" I asked, offering a helping hand. Her hair was dyed a light blue and her eyes were a sparkling icy blue. She had on a stylish white, long sleeved shirt on, deep blue skinny jeans, and gray/white converse shoes. She nodded and pulled back a strand of her hair. There was a pause of sheer silence in our meeting. "My name's Y/N. Uh, what's yours?" I asked, unsure how to start the conversation.
"Snowflake," she said. I smiled an held out my hand to help her up. I helped her get to her classes, and get into her schedule and whateves. But there was something... different about her. Something that seemed to be right in front of me, but it was see through. Invisible. "Can I sit with you during lunch... since I'm new?" she asked. I nodded and waved good bye to Snowflake and walked into science. The day seemed to go by like I was at school for only a minute or two. The 45 minutes that each class was supposed to be actually seemed like five! I did see Randy and Howard and their eyes were red and tired looking.
"How late did you stay up?" I teased Randy. He placed his head on his hands.
"About... uhhhh... 3 am?" he yawned. I stared wide eyed at him with my jaws open in a big, wide smile. Then I started to laugh. Randy smiled weakly, and laid his head on the table in front of him and sighed out a tired sigh. "I met some new girl this morning," I said, calming down. Randy rubbed his eyes and nodded.
"And she's gonna be coming to lunch with us, that ok?" Randy nods and stops rubbing his eyes.
"Why did we play that game over and over again...?" Randy groaned.

(At Lunch)

I waited in line for lunch, letting other people go so I could find Snowflake and lead her to the table. "Sorry I'm late!!" Snow exclaimed as she rushed up to me, a nervous smile faltering on her face. I nodded my head forward, telling her that she can go ahead. She smiled at me and went ahead, grabbing a tray and getting the meal for today, which was hamburgers and fries, along with some chocolate chip cookies. Best... Day... Ever! I thought with excitement.
"Sooo... where are we sitting?" Snow asked timidly. I pointed over towards the table with Randy and Howard. They smiled at us and waved us over. Snow walked over stiffly and sat down next to me. I guess she wasn't expecting to see me hanging with boys. We sit there for a bit, not talking. "Hi. My name's Randy. And this is Howard. What's your name?" Randy asks friendly.
"S-Snowflake," she says, glancing up with a gentle smile. Randy starts talking about the Ninja and the school, asking questions and whatever. I don't remember getting flooded with questions when I was new. Eh. Guess it must just be a change in time. After lunch, we all walk to our lockers to get our stuff and get going to class. As soon as I walk into class, an alarm sounds off.
"Monster alert! Monster alert! Attention students and faculty members, there is a sighting of a monster near the building. Everyone, please, grab your belongings and go to your designated safe area. Thank you!" Principal what's-his-face says on the intercom. The other students around me start to freak out and panic. I reach inside my pocket and feel the slick fabric of the mask. I run out with the other students and duck into a closet.
I quickly slip the mask on and let the bands of black and white wrap around my body. I'm ready. I hope Ninja Boy's out there already, I think as I sprint through the halls. Outside, a big robotic monster roars and tramples over the trees outside the school. I roll my eyes before Ninja actually shows up. "SMOKE BOMB!"
"Great entrance, Ninja Boy," I say, running into the grass where he had appeared.
"Was that sarcasm?" he asks.
"Did it sound sarcastic?"
"Well, that sounded- You know what? Let's just go." He says, running off. I roll my eyes and pull out my Ninja sword and go in to help the Ninja. The robot was at least 75 feet tall, with arms that were tinted green and gray, big, silvery claws that knocked down trees, crushed cars, and would tear one of us apart in seconds. But the thing was that it was fast. And I figured that out when it's long, whipped thin tail slashed me off of it's back and I was thrown to the ground.
I was stunned and was paralyzed for a few short seconds. My thoughts were spinning in my head and the colors of the sky and trees were all going into reds and oranges before coming back to green and blue. I got up into a crouching position and held my head with my hand before looking up and seeing the giant robot towering over me. I roared and struck up it's claws, ready to kill me.
I leapt out of the way, feeling light headed. Ninja came down and landed right beside me. "Snowbird!" he yelled, grabbing my scarf and saving me from the next blow from the robot. Air got caught in my throat as Ninja swung me around with amazing strength and control. It gasped for air as he let go. "Do you mind not choking me next time?" I fired at him. He blinked at me and narrowed his eyes.
"Well, I'm sorry! Trying to save you here!" he glared back. I was about to say something like, "I'm the one supposed to be saving you," or "Thank you, first of all," until our argument came to an end.
"Need some help?" Ninja and I glanced up and saw a figure with a long, blue scarf, dressed in all black.
Randy: "No."
Me: "Honking."
Both: "Way."
