Y/N's POV:

"Ma'am, please. Calm down." I was hyperventilating, breathing in and out, holding my neck with shaky hands. I swallowed quickly, eyes wide open. "Now, what happened?"
"I-I was just getting some lunch and my friend was upstairs... I heard the smashing of glass and a loud thump. When I came upstairs, he was gone!" I said, not believing myself.
"Ok. What's your location?"
"House number 954, Temple Drive." My voice shook as I said this.
"Ok. We're sending police as we speak. We'll find your friend." The lady said before hanging up. I slumped against the wall in front of me. I couldn't cry anymore. There was no chance. Who would have done this? And why? I kept thinking of people who hated Randy. No one really came to mind, well, no one that would have kidnapped him, that is. Then, a thought came to mind. "I have to find Blue," I said, running upstairs to find my mask and book. I grabbed those and waited for the police to get there.

(Later That Night)

"Blue! Blue, I need your help!" I was in the park again. The stars were watching me that night and I could almost feel them next to me. A swish, a tap, and Blue was behind me. She stared down at me, hands on her hips. "Hello, Snowy. Where's Red Ninja?" she said, jumping down and walking up to me. I blinked, trying to fathom the idea of Ninja not being here.
"I don't know. But that doesn't matter. I have a friend who's missing. Can you please help me find him?" I pleaded. Blue circled me, her eyes narrowed. There was just silence. "What would I get from it?" she asked, folding her arms in front of me. My mouth fell open, another heartbeat gone missing.
"How about the satisfaction of saving someone's life!?"
"Well, I don't know him. Why should I care?"
"Blue." Two voices sounded from behind me. I glanced back and saw two other Ninja there. "Quite being so selfish! Snowbird needs help. What's your friends look like?" a boy's voice said. "Reaper, Snowbird."
I nodded. "His name is Randy. He's got purple hair. Covered in blood last time I saw him." I tried not to start crying again. "He's hurt. He was kidnapped a few hours ago today."
Reaper nodded and huddled up with Blue and the other Ninja. I stood there, unable to think of anything to do, anything to say. I just let the silent tears crawl down my face as I looked up at the stars.

Randy's POV:

It was dark. It was cold. I sat up from where I was lying on the floor. I breathed in and out, finding nothing there. I could see only a light in the darkness. "Y/N?" There was no answer. I stood up and found myself on a bed that was chained to the wall. A single window let in gray light that glinted on the walls that surrounded me. "Hello? Anyone there?" I called. The only response was my own echo. I tried to walk, but stumbled against the walls.
A tap sounded on the walls. I looked at them. They were pure white with aqua lining in between the slabs of marble. I looked down and saw I was dressed in white clothes. I pressed my ear against the wall. Another tap. "Hello?"
"Hello? Are you in the prison cell next to me? Or am I just going crazy?" I voice that was muffled said on the other side.
"No, no. I'm a real person. Who are you?" I asked. I pressed my hands against the cold walls, listening.
"My name is Esmerelda. I'm from Norriseville. You?"
"Same here. The name's Randy. Nice to meet you Esmerelda. What is this place? Where are we?" I asked. There was a small bit of silence before Esmerelda answered.
"I'm not sure where we are... But I do know what this place is. We're here because they know something about us. Something no one else knows...," she said. I opened my mouth to say something else when the iron door slammed open. Two slate gray and black guards stood in front of me. "Randy? Come with us please," one of them said, jerking his head towards the doorway. I took a step before falling to my knees. The other guard rushed forward and helped me up. They seemed so nice. But... there was something about this place that felt bad. That felt like a prison. The two guards led me away from my cell, and I glance back towards cell beside mine. A girl comes out in greenish blue shirt and dark jeans. Her hair was ebony black with swirls of orange in it.
A scar was cut under her right eye, right next to two earrings that were held from her ear. She glanced up at me, and I don't think I had ever seen such emerald colored eyes in my life. "Keep moving, Randy," One of the guards said. I kept walking, not daring to look back at Esmerelda. Before I knew it, there were other kids around me. All varying in age and size and colors. There wasn't anyone I knew, though. We were all filed into a large white room with a podium at the front. We stood in rows of ten in front of the podium. Esmerelda was next to a girl with dark brown and dark pinkish-red eyes.
"Welcome, students," a voice said. I felt scared. I wanted to run. I reached for the mask, but found no pockets to hold it.
Behind the podium, a figure in a white cloak with a hood covering her eyes appeared. "Do not worry. You are safe."
"No, we aren't!" a voice cried out. A boy with light brown hair and dark blue eyes stared defiantly at the figure. "This is a trap! The Ninja will come for us!" My muscles seized up, and my eyes widened at him. The white figure was silent for a moment before raising a hand and pointing at the boy.
"How unfortunate. Kill him." She ordered. I shook my head before looking back at the boy. A man dressed in armor held his arms behind his back and held a pistol against the boy's head.
No... No, don't do it! Please! I thought desperately. But it was over. The gun shot went off and the boy fell to the floor, blood trailing down his face and over his open, scared eyes.
"Now. Where were we?"

(A/N: Hey, guys! I've gotten a lot of comments saying "where's my character?" "When is _________ gonna come in?" Don't worry! I have a plan for this story. You're characters will come in on their own time. Just be patient. I get it. I once put in a request for one of my characters in a book, and it took the girl a long, long time to get me in. But she had a plot for the story line. So just wait. They will be coming. I promise.
