Y/N's POV:
Two days ago, Randy was gone. I hadn't come home since then. I had met two other Ninja besides Blue and Reaper. The Orange Ninja, Master of Fire, and Purple Ninja, Mind Reader. They all have agreed to help me find Randy. Mom and dad have been calling me, wondering where I've been. I haven't answered back. There's no way I could face them and tell them that Randy's gone. But they've probably gotten that figured out by now.
"I'm sorry to hear that your friend is missing," Purple Ninja said, a soft, sad look in her eyes. I nodded. "Thank you," I replied, tears building up. "He's my best friend, the one I can trust with anything." Orange Ninja comes to sit with me and Purple Ninja. We're overlooking the city on top of a skyscraper. I hear her sigh before joining in on the conversation. "Blue says she's got a pretty good idea where your friend may be. And we have just received news that there is more than one enemy out there. But we know for sure that they are not spirits. So Raven Lord is not here. She is gone," she says.
I stand up from where I sit and walk away, the others behind me. We walk back to where Blue and Reaper are consulting their plans. "We don't have the time for this, Blue. Searching the whole city is a job for the police. We need to be precise, careful, and we need to find him. I know who this boy is. I know he's-" Reaper cuts off as we enter the small canvas covered tent on the building.
"Who is he?" I ask. Blue looks back at me and then to Reaper. Orange Ninja and Purple Ninja come up from behind, wanting to hear more. "I want to know who my friend is. If you have any information about him at all that you are hiding from me, so help me, I will not stand for it!" I wanted a straight answer. I didn't want riddles, I didn't want false truths. I wanted the God's honest truth about where Randy had gone.
"We know where he went," Blue said. "We're just trying to find a way in and out of the facility." She picked up a small mechanical box and pressed a series of buttons on it, and up popped a hologram of a strange looking building. Tall towers, a wall at least 12 feet tall, and windows upon windows. I stared at the hologram waiting for an answer from Blue, Reaper, Flare, or Myst.
Reaper pointed to the windows. "These are the places where all the victims are held. They've been captured because the people from this facility know something about them. We have received messages from Sakira, the Pink Ninja, and Esmerelda, the Green Ninja. They were tracked to these locations. Seems like the people in the facility know their true powers. Randy is more than likely there-" he glanced my way before returning to the hologram- "he could be anywhere. Hopefully, he finds Sakira and Esmerelda. They'll know what to do."
We all nodded to each other and sat down in the small tent. "When do we leave?" I asked, taking out a Ninja ring. I flicked it up in the air and caught it with two fingers.
"There are five of us here. Flare and Myst are going in first, letting us know what's going on. Reaper, me, and you are coming in to free the children. But everything needs to go as planned. No flaws, no "oh, no's", nothing. Reaper will set us up with some microphones for tomorrow's raid. You think you can handle it, not possessing any power and all?" Blue answered. Her icy eyes were soft and friendly. She didn't mean that coldly. I knew it. I nodded and blinked at the hologram again.
"What's the plan?" Flare asked.(The Next Day)
The sun hadn't even reached the tops of the buildings as we headed out for the facility. It was 5 miles out from Norriseville. Not much thought was placed in this build until I realized it was invisible. "Wow. That makes so much more sense," I whispered to Reaper. He nodded as we stopped in the small pine forest below the facility.
"Ok. We're going over the plan again. Just so we know what's going on," Blue said. She brought out the hologram and turned it on. "Flare, Myst. You two are heading in through the ventilation on the West side. From there, you'll head in and take out as many guards as you can, quietly. Don't let them come back, and don't leave one conscious. When you have at least 25 to 40 done, call us in and we'll make our grand entrance. We'll all gather up at this point in the North bay. We'll wait for them to gather as many children around.
"If there is at least four stations, each of us goes and takes out the guards. Snowbird, if that is true, you stay behind and wait for us. If you see any trouble, let us know through the earpiece. Got that?" I nod before we put our hands in a pile.
"Together we stand, together we fall," Reaper said. Flare and Myst nodded and took off, heading West. I waited there with Blue and Reaper. I needed to rethink the plan over and over again in my mind. This was pretty hard core for what we were doing. I hadn't ever been part of this big of a mission. I sat down beside Reaper and stared blankly at the large clearing in front of us. "You ok?" he asked. I blinked at him.
"Yeah. I'm... I'm all good," I said.
"Status's show you are not well. What's on your mind, Snowbird?" I stared at him for a little bit. That was a weird thing to say... Status's? Whatever.
"It's Randy. I'm just hoping he's alright..."
"We can all tell you are worried about him." I nodded and laid my head on my elbows which were propped up on my knees. After five more minutes, a small beeping sound went off in my earpiece. I pressed a button and it shut off. "We're ready," Flare's voice said through the microphone.
"Alright meet you inside," Reaper says back, coming to his feet. He glances back at Blue and Me.
"You ready? Cause this is our only chance." I nod, Randy's face embedded in my mind.
"Until the end. I don't care if I end up dying. There's no way I'm letting them take Randy away," I said, standing with Blue and Reaper. And we charged the facility.
