Y/N's POV:
You know the rest of the story. All but the very end. After I had seen Randy's ghost, I had picked up the red rose. It sparkled silver from my tears. I turned around and saw that seven other flowers sprang up from the cracks of the stone floor. A tiger lily, forget me nots, black eyed susans, they were all here. I plucked them and walked away with them in my hands. I came to the middle of the arena that was now empty and silent.
A circle appeared and a white snake had coiled itself in the stone. I swallowed hard and stood there, waiting. The ground under my feet trembled before lifting off and into the sky. It was getting dark, the sky a dark pinkish red. I stepped off into the forest and watched as the glass of the arena disappeared under the grass. I turned away and carefully lifted the mask off my face. No need to hide who I was anymore. I still wore the black leather jacket I had borrowed from Kai that day. But it was torn and ruined from the battles.
The whole way home, I cried. When I got to Norrisville, I stopped. "Is this home?" I whispered. I hung my head and looked at the flowers in my hands. "Are you watching over me?" There was no answer to my silent question. I trudged on, walking home. When I got there, I stopped at the doorway. What would my parents say? How would I explain that I was gone this long? Oh, well. It's probably time they knew the truth. I walked in, seeing my parents in the living room. They both turned their heads and their eyes were almost dull and colorless until they realized it was me.
"Oh, my God! Y/N!!" My mother screamed, standing instantly and crying as she ran to hug me. I cried with her and my father joined us. "Where did you go? What happened!?" I couldn't stop crying. I had lost so many friends. I had to sit down for a bit to even try telling them what had happened. I told them that I had fought along side Ninja for the past few months, then went on journey to find him with seven other people.
Due to a fire, we were separated and I was saved by Kai. Kai had a friend named Aspen who came along after I had been introduced to Kai and was starting to learn many new things about the world. After that, I was found by Blue and the others and coaxed back into becoming the hero. Then one by one, everyone fell like rain drops from a storm. Now I was the last of the Ninja. They just sat there, their mouth's open in shock.
"I know, you always tried to help me be honest with you about where I was going, who I was with. But this was really important. I'm sorry that I hadn't told you before," I apologized between sniffles.
"We understand that it was important to keep this a secret. We understand and won't ask for you to repeat anything else to us unless you want to," my mother said, reaching forward to hug me. This was the end of the legend. I was the last Ninja. I was Snowbird, and I had survived the White Demon's wrath.
(AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH fanfirling) OMG! It's done! Weeks, and months had been put into this sequel and I apologize deeply for the long period of not writing this. I was just in a tight spot and writing my fanfic wasn't in the cards for me. But it's now done! Thank you to 8k readers, I know it's been a long, long, long time and I can't thank you guys enough for the comments and the help you have given me. TBH, I didn't set out to write a series. I was just here to write my own fanfic and be done with it. But then I started getting views. Like, a lot of them! So it drove me to keep writing. I have to say, this book is BY FAR the best of the two. We'll just have to see how The Last turns out!
I have so much excitement now in my life that... it's just really, really, really, really, really, hard to explain it in words. I'm going to British Columbia with a few friends I haven't seen in a year or so in three months. Pray that my grades make it up to at least a C!! lol. I have the last book of our trilogy coming, I've actually started writing it in a note book I have at my house.
It's just so heartwarming to know that 155 of your guys are reading my fanfics! (Chat Noir included!)
