Wednesday:
I have so much to look forward to already. Seriously though. There's some bad things too. Like my biology test tomorrow, and presenting my health project. We find out our canoe partners tomorrow! Obviously Friday will be the best, going on the field trip! But tonight I'm gonna hang with Nialler and study. Thank God he's pretty smart.
My last class of the day is gym. Woohoo! That's a fun class also. I walked to the girl's locker room and started to change into my gym clothes. My eyes landed on a pair of blue ones and I grinned, "Hey Kathryn." "Hey Gracie!" She waved and skipped over to me.
After I was ready to go, we walked to the gym together. All the boys were already there, like usual, messing around. I chuckled watching Harry and some guy chucking dodgeballs at eachother. How does that entertain themselves?
"Alright. Since we finally finished our lacrosse unit, we're just doing dodgeball for today." The gym teacher yelled. "Ew." Kathryn looked at me and frowned. I didn't really like dodgeball either. Someone is always just trying to peg someone in the head.
The class got split into two teams. I was on Harry's, but Kathryn was on the other. Boo. "Gracie!" He yelled in a weird voice. "Harry!" I mimicked back.
The gym teacher told us, "When I blow my whistle, you can run to the center and grab the dodgeballs." Harry's eyes found mine and he smirked. Pretty sure I know why. I rolled my eyes back at him. The whistle cut my thoughts off and people sprinted towards the center.
Oh hell no. I'm staying back here and not risking getting hit. That's what half of the girls were doing. Kathryn was on the other side of the court and waved at me. I waved back, laughing. We're such losers. I swear if she got hit with the ball while doing that....I would- wouldn't laugh, psh.
People were already getting out. Balls were flying everywhere. Our team had about 5 people on the sideline already. That always happens at the beginning of the game though. It's their faults for trying to get a dodgeball first.
"AHH!" I yelped and ducked. A ball almost just hit me. Okayy..who did that? Some guy on the other team. "Get a ball and hit him back!" A girl, standing near me, said. "I have the worst throw ever!" I chuckled. She replied, "Same here. That's why I'm standing back here- QUICK MOVE!!" I dived the other way. WHAT DID I DO TO THAT GUY ON THE OTHER TEAM? HE KEEPS AIMING AT ME BACK HERE, GOSH.
"Gracie, here." Someone said and gave me a dodgeball. I looked up to see Harry. "What the frick I am NOT going up there. But you need to hit whoever this guy is!" I said quickly and pointed at him. I feel like I'm in war or something. Harry chuckled and pulled my arm, dragging me.
He's taking me up there. Of course he is.
The same freaking guy whipped a ball at me. I screamed but Harry blocked it with the dodgeball in his hand. "Chill..." Harry said laughing loudly.
I like standing on the back line better.
"Grace, try to hit him. Just do it." Harry said and handed me a ball. Might as well. I moved away from Harry a little, I've been hiding behind his back this whole time. The best I could, I whipped the ball at the annoying kid.
