{72} The Ross family, a happy holiday, and Harry's favorites

Gold ribbon and red and green wrapping paper was scattered everywhere in my bedroom.  Today being the morning of Christmas Eve meant I should have everything wrapped soon.  I was really in no rush though.  My mom and sisters would come in for dinner and do presents Christmas morning but that's about it.  I had cute jewelry for my sister Annalee and for Leyton a CD by her favorite band.  I haven't seen them in so long. 

I thought I'd only end up having gifts for my family.  But when Lyssa and I were out I saw this snapback I could picture Niall wearing.  He used to always talk to me about his hats too so I thought I'd give him it at one point.  I wish I could give it to him on actual Christmas though.  For Harry, I got him a gift card to Patty's Chicken Palace as a joke.  It was the place my chicken friend was talking about.  I thought it'd be kind of funny. 

For Chelle I got her a giftcard to Forever 21 and a nice card.  I would have to mail that to her soon.  I tried picking out some kind of clothes as a gift but I couldn't decide.  That's truly about it for my presents.  I'm almost done wrapping all of them.  I start thinking about how this Christmas will go.  Usually everyone acts like everything is okay but that's only because there's so much stress.  There's stress with the fact Mom and Dad could snap any second.  There's stress with the fact there's always so much catching up to do.  It's not the same.   

My phone buzzes - "Merry, merry christmas eve ! xx -Niall"

"You too: ) have any big plans? xx -Gracie"

"Nahh!! Just eat and maybe watch a movie:D xx -Niall"

 "Sounds pretty good.  I get to see my mom and sisters so yay. xx -Gracie"

"The whole Ross family?? Will I ever meet all of them one day yeh !? xx -N"

"Mayyyybe:) xx -G"

"I bet you're gonna be wearin' a pretty dress ! xx -N"

"Good guess;) Maybe you'll get a picture. xx -Gracie"

"now you've got me all excited ! hey, I deserve a couple pics ;D xx -N"

I realized I was totally getting sidetracked from wrapping and also another important factor.  Niall was practically flirting with me.  And I had to admit to myself... I wanted to send him pictures to make him happy.  I would love getting a hot selfie of him on Christmas Eve.  He just is never.. like that.. I guess I can put.  I think that's why I was drawn to him when we first knew eachother.  Niall was different from other boys. 

Time feels like it's flying by when my dad comes into my room adjusting his tie.  Yeah, he always got ready early and I get ready at the last minute.  But that still means my family will be over soon.   

"You better of gotten me a super cool gift." My dad eyes all the presents.

"Don't worry." I smile, "When are they going to be here?"

"I'm not sure, exactly.  Get ready soon, hun."

I nod and stuff all the presents in my arms.  Quickly, I go downstairs to set them under our Christmas tree.  Well aren't I in the Christmas spirit.  I almost chuckle at myself for humming well known Christmas songs.  Okay... maybe I'm getting a little excited.
