The music is a little heavier than usual but it was the song I was listening to while writing this and the song at the end. You don't have to listen to it if you don't want too. :)

It starts at one minute...

The plane ride took two hours and I was ready to pass out at any moment. Unfortunately for me Asher had crazy fans that seemed to know where he was at all times, causing us to get stuck in ‘traffic’ with all the girls surrounding the limo that picked us up at the airport.

Scarlet was starting to get cranky and I couldn’t blame her as I  too was getting irritated, but the band? They loved it. They all had giant smiles on their faces as we waited to move. I know why they are smiling, they’re grateful, but you’d think they’d be just the least bit irradiated.

“Mallory just texted me the sound check time.” Asher announced looking down at his phone, “It’s in an hour which leaves us ten minutes to get settled at the hotel.”

I groaned and looked over to see Scarlet asleep on Adam’s shoulder, sucking her thumb as she did. I envied her, I just wanted to sleep but being the adult I was supposed to be no naps were to be held the first day of tour.. It’s the rules. Apparently.

“It’s okay babe, you don’t need to go to sound check you can nap in the hotel.” Asher laughed as he looked up at me and saw how drained I looked. I smiled closing my eyes and leaned on his shoulder. I let out a yawn and before I knew it I was out.

I woke to a dark and empty room. Confused and dazed I looked around. The room was unfamiliar to me and it took me a minute to realize I was in the hotel room, Asher must have carried me in. That thought made me smile as I slipped out of the bed and made my way over to the window. The view was beautiful. The tall building sparkled in the night and the light of the moon shined down. I smiled as I saw passing cars below and the people moving about.

I was so engrossed with the spectacular view that I jump at a ringing sound. The ringing of course was none other than my phone. Pulling it out the screen was flashing Asher’s picture, I smiled and answered.

“Hey, the view's great from the hotel room.” I told him as I continued to scan the scenery.

“Are you trying to get me to come to the hotel?” He laughed.

I laughed, “I might be.” I flirtishly told him, “Anyway what’s up?”

“What’s up? You can’t change the subject Nora.”

“Of course I can, sicko.” I heard him chuckle and then some shouting from his side, “Right you have a concert.” I remembered and then looked over at the clock on the night stand.

“We have an hour, I just called to see if you’re awake yet and if you were coming.”

“Of course I’m coming. I’ll meet you in fifteen.”

“Can’t wait.” He replied and then hung up.

I sighed and put my phone in my back pocket and then grabbed my backstage pass. At the front desk I asked for a car and they must have recognised me because the girl started to get flustered like I was someone really important. “The car is out front ma’am and uh if it’s not too much trouble, could I get a picture with you?”

“With me?” I asked taken off guard, no one has ever asked me to take a picture with them and the feeling was different from when I just got recognised.
