Never in my life had I felt so alone. Never in our entire relationship had Grace and I had a massive fight! Sure we had a few small ones here and there but nothing as serious as this. And the worst part? I was the one who started it.

I shouldn’t have said those things. I feel afwal for even bringing up anything. I was stupid. I missed Grace already it was crazy! She was sitting in the same room as I was yet I felt so distant from her. I really need to apologize.

“Grace-.” I started and she turned her head away from me. I let out a sigh and opened my mouth to try again when I was interrupted.

“Hey Nora, your guests are here.” The assistant manager told me.This got her attention as she looked at me, I nodded and stood up. The boys were on stage for sound check so I walked over to the door to greet them. Harry stood there his arm around a petite girl, she had light brown hair and hazel eyes, she was very pretty. On her hip she held a little boy, I instantly recognized Harry in him. Harry had a distinct jaw bone and even though the little boy couldn’t have been more than three you could clearly see that he had it as well. Beth and Eli were there bouncing on the balls of there feet.

I smiled at them. "Hey, excited?" I chuckled a little.

"It was the only thing they were talking about since you gave me the tickets." Harry laughed. "This is Gianna, my lovely wife, and our son Hank.”

“It’s nice to met you, I’m Nora.” I shook her free hand.

She smiled, “Call me Gia, Harry knows I hate it when he calls me by my full name.” She sent a playful glare at him, to which I smiled. They were cute. I’m glad that they are both happy.

“Can we see the band?” Beth cut in, pulling my attention away from the two in front of me.

“Yeah, they’re on stage for sound check right now. Grace, Adam and Adam’s daughter Scarlet are in here.” I gestured to the door behind me, “I’ll ask if they want to come.” I opened the door and I saw Grace with her arms crossed across her chest and Adam and Scarlet playing on the ground. “I’m going to stage, want to come?”

I hoped Grace would answer but she seemed dead set against it and totally tuned me out. I bit my lip as Adam smiled, “Sure.” he picked up Scarlet and walked over to the door, “babe?”

Grace sighed heavily but made her way over as well, not even looking in my direction. “Hey Harry.” She smiled slightly.

“Hey Gracie.” Harry replied and then glanced at me curiously. I turned my head and began walking down the hallway to the stage. I can’t Stand that Grace won’t talk to me. I realize that it was my fault but I mean, I tried to apologize she just won’t let me. She’s being ridiculous. It’s like she doesn’t even care.

Walking backstage you could hear the guys as they practiced there set, you could also hear some screaming girls that were fortunate to get sound check tickets.

I braced myself for hearing his voice but it didn’t help. My body reacted like it normally did. I got butterflies in the pit of my stomach and my heart jumped in my chest. Something in his voice was off but he was still amazing as ever.
