“I’ll be fine.” I told Asher as I kissed his cheek. “You need some time with the guys anyway.”
“I’m tired of being with the guys.” he whined, “I wanna be with you.”
“And you will.” I reassured him, “In a few days.”
“I’ll call you.” He kissed my cheek and helped me into the security line at the airport. “You’ll be okay?”
“I’m going to be fine Ashe. I promise.” He shrugged and I just grinned.
Everything seem to shift. The mood of the situation changed instantly when I say a girl wrap her arms around Ashers waist. He smiled and turned around and kissed her passionately right in front of me.
“Asher?” I asked with tears in my eyes as I tried to get his attention. “Ash?”
He grinned and shook his head, “Go home Nora, I’ll be fine here without you.”
“Don’t look so shocked,” the girl laughed, “you knew he’d find someone better someday.” I just stared at them as they kissed again. My heart ached painfully in my chest and I cried.
“Nora?” His voice whispered softly in my ear. I tightly held my eyes closed, it was just a dream, just a dream I had to remind myself but my heart was still heavy in my chest.
It felt so real but thinking about it, it was choppy and so dream like.
“Nora? Are you okay?” Asher asked again. I only nodded as my eyes fluttered open and met his. “What’s wrong?” He whispered.
“Nothing.” I shook my head, I can’t tell him about the dream he might think I’m accusing and I’m not. “I’m fine.”
He didn’t believe me but he let it go and smiled. “I have the day off today.”
“Really?” I asked trying to put on the most believable smile I could.
“Really.” He said getting out of bed, “And I’ve got a surprise for you.”
“What’s with you and surprises?” I questioned, chuckling a little as I watched him grab things from his suitcase.
Shrugging he smirked at me over his shoulder, “I love seeing how happy you get when I show you apart from just telling you.”
“Aw Asher.” I grinned for real this time, “You’re adorable.”
“I know, I try to be.” He cockily replied.
“I’m going to shower.” I rolled my eyes and slipping out of bed.
Asher shook his head and grabbed my arm before I could get passed him.
“Not so fast. He growled huskily before he kissed me hungrily. I loved how desperate his kiss felt and how he seemed to relax after seconds of kissing, like I was what he needed.
“Are you coming?” Chris yelled from the other side of the door. “We haven’t got all day.”
“I thought it was going to be just the two of us.” I pouted slightly.
“It will, Chris is just an idiot.” I giggled and he kissed me again.
“Are you two even awake in there?” Ryder asked.
Asher groaned, “I’m sorry.” He whispered to me and the shouted, “just a minute.” He went over to the door to open it. I rolled my eyes and picked out an outfit for today.
