Chapter 22

Tobin's POV

We rushed to the police station and asked for all the leads on Alex Morgan. The man at the desk handed me a folder.

Not much to go on. Whenever they found where he was at when they arrived he had left. Just then a man comes bursting in with two guys following closely behind. We all stop and watch them.

"I'd like to report something." The first man says.

"And what would that be?" The police officer says.

"A kidnapping. Well not really but I know where Alex Morgan is." He says. I run over to him.

"Where is she?!" I ask. Then when I look at him straight in the eye I recognise him. "You! You're one of them men that beat me and Alex up!" The police vehicle officer stands up.

"You did what?" He says.

"Where is she?!" I yell again.

"I'll show you where if you'll follow me." The man says.

"What are you siting for? Officer grab some people and let's go!" I yell. The police officer calls over some other police and we head out. "We can't go in the police cars or anything loud cause he'll hear us." I say. The goons had brought us to a house on the outskirts of Vancouver. We were sneaking around the house checking it out. All the lights were off except the ones in the basement.

"He's got her in the basement. He was gonna give her a tattoo when we left. I don't know if he went through with it though." I hoped he didn't give her one.

We walk towards the front door. We age a few people stationed around the house just in case he got away. A police officer, two goons, and I were going in.

"You guys ready?" They nod their heads and we walk quietly towards the door. We slowly open the door and walk in. The goons lead us to the basement door. I take a deep breathe and try to relax.

The goons go first then me then the officer. We quietly walk down the steps. When we get down there what I see terrifies me.

The ground is covered in dry blood. It's messy down here. Papers strewn across the floor, water bottles and food stuff is also all over the floor. In the far corner is Alex.

"Alex!" I run to her. BANG BANG!! I feel a sudden pain in my shoulder and stomach. I fall to my knees. I can't hear anything. I think I hear more gun shots but I don't feel anymore pain except for the pain I already have.

I look up at Alex. She was still on the ground. I think she's passed out. I ignore the pain and pick her up. I hurry to the stairs. I burst through the door to outside and collapse onto the ground. I think someone shout my name. I don't know. Then I see Amy and Lauren over me.

Lauren's PoV

Tobin and the rest just went in. We don't hear anything for a few minutes then I hear gunshots. Oh no. Please let Alex and Tobin be okay. I hear yelling.

Then Tobin bursts through the front door when she gets to the grass she collapses.

"Tobin!" I yell. "Amy! Hurry over here! It's Tobin!" J see her run over I grabber hand and we both run over to Tobin and Alex. It's dark so I can't see them very well.

"It hurts so bad Lauren." I start to cry. "Get Alex to the hospital. Quick."

"Amy go get the police officers." She runs off. I grab Tobin's and Alex's hand. Alex is still on top of Tobin. Amy quickly returns with them. They each pick up one of them and hurry back the way we came. "Amy go with them. I'll be there soon."

"What are you going to do?" She asks me.

"Something. I'll be there soon now go! They'll need someone with them." Without waiting for a replie I run inside. I quickly find the door to the basement. I run down and find the two goons holding Servando while the police officer hand cuffs him. Without thinking I go up to him and punch him as hard as I can. The police officer runs over to me and stands in front of him. I leave and run to the hospital.

When I get there I ask for Alex and Tobin. She says room 217 but I don't let her finish I run up there. When I get up there I see Amy waiting outside the room looking through the window.

She's sobbing uncontrollably. When I see why I start to cry uncontrollably.

Alex has a breathing mask on and their doing the thing that shocks her heart into starting. All the doctors and nurses are hurrying everywhere. And Tobin. Oh Tobin. She's a bloody mess. It's biggest around her shoulder and and stomach. Their also doing the heart thing. She's wearing a breathing mask as well. Kelley runs up and gives us hugs. We cry into her shoulders as the doctors do their best to save them.

I feel Kelley's tears on my head. I dare not look up at them, scared of what I'll see.
