The Next Day...

[Nick's POV]

Hurry up mate. I have a date with Phoenix at 1:30. Finally, he's here.

Kaj: "Hey there ,mate." (Sits next to Nick on the bench.)

"Hey."

Kaj: "How's Hannah? Phoenix?"

"They're both fine. Just a bit hurt."

Kaj: "Right."

" What got into you mate? Out all the men on this planet, you shag Phoenix's dad?!"

Kaj: "I don't know what I was thinking. I never thought things would get so out of hand. I didn't mean to cheat on Hannah. I'm really falling for her. I promise; I didn't want to make a mess of things."

"I know. You would never purposely  hurt anyone."

Kaj: "There's something you must know, something I've been keeping from you?"

"What is it?"

Kaj: "I've had a crush on you since junior high."

"I know. I was crushing on you too. I never thought you would like me." (Smiles) "I never told you anything because I thought it would hurt our frinedship."

Kaj: "Yeah, maybe. We were just kids then." (Smiles sadly.)

"True. Are you falling for Hannah or for me?"

Kaj: "Hannah. You're really fit but there's something about Hannah that I've never found in anyone. No offense mate."

"None taken. You're pretty fit too but Phoenix is who I love."

Kaj: "I know." (Smiles.) "He loves you too."

"Yup. He tells me everyday." (Laughs.)

Kaj: "I bet he does." (Laughs too.)

"I got to go." (Gets up.) "I'm meeting up with Phoenix. We're having lunch at my favorite place."

Kaj: "Of course." (Shakes Head.) "Have a good day, good lad." (Laughs)

"You too mate." (Heads for his car.)

(Gets a text message.)

To: Nick

"Hey babe! Hurry up I'm starving! I'm already here. I'm in my car; Rihanna's music is keeping me company. Love you babe. (:"
