I can't believe this story is over! Writing about Peter and Lilith has been unlike any story I've ever written, and it has really been something I'm thankful for. I'm so sad to be writing these words, signalling the end of the book.
This story has definitely been pretty personal for me. I feel like I poured a lot of myself into the characters, and it was absolutely wonderful to see you all respond so positively to them. I can't thank you guys enough for being such amazing people. From participating in the contests, to leaving me kind notes, to sending me fanart. You guys truly are the best people on the internet!I also hope that I was able to make this story personal to you all just as much as it was for me. The tale of Peter Pan has always hit a chord with me. Whether I can credit that to the exciting adventures or the innocence behind it, I don't know. But being able to write two stories about two different Peter Pans is something I'm really thankful for.
As for my upcoming works, yes! There is something in the mix! I'm going to try venturing away from Peter's tales and write something entirely new. I've got the plot and characters figured out, it's just a matter of putting the pen to the paper (so to speak). I'm excited about this new one because I officially plan to submit it for publication! Throughout the duration of writing this novel, I've discovered that writing is something I thoroughly enjoy. I would love to try and publish these stories I've already written, but I fear the copyright on Peter Pan isn't something I can get around. But, either way, I am very excited about this new book and I will be sure to inform you guys when the first chapter is up! I really hope you all stick around to read it!
Thank you again from the bottom of my heart to all you wonderful people for taking the time to read my story and get to know me. It has been an honor telling Peter and Lilith's tale, and I cannot even begin to tell you how heart breaking it was for me to write this last chapter.
Also, I cannot tell you if Peter and Lilith will confide in me with any more of their adventures. They're very private these days, you see, and I'm quite surprised they have told me this much! Don't give up hope yet, though. I've left my window open, and I'm awaiting the fairy who will guide me to them. As I hope you all are as well.
