LIL'S POV:

I stumbled a few times, not quite used to my new attire, and felt my way down the hallway. I'm not sure it could really be classified as a hallway though. The walls were rough and a little bit sticky. At one point a beacon of light shone through a hole in the 'wall' and illuminated the other side. The walls were made of.... branches?

Tree branches?

They were woven so tightly together that no light shone through except for that one spot. I used the light to look at my hand and saw that it was covered in, what I hoped to be, tree sap.

I looked above my head and saw the strange configuration of tree branches.

"Lilith what's taking you so long?" Peter sighed as he poked his head around the corner of a doorway a few feet away from me.

My head snapped forward, "Coming."

I rushed towards the light and emerged out into the room Peter had come from.

The room was dimly lit by candles in small, foggy containers that sat on each available space in the room. The only reason I noticed them was because Peter was in the process of waving his fingers through the flame when he raised his head and saw me, "Looks like you found something."

I nodded and lifted a layer of the dress with my hand, "It's not what I would usually go for but, it's all I could find. It'll work until my clothes dry off."

Peter scrunched his nose and put one hand under his chin, "Wendy wore something like that."

"You mean a dress?"

"I think that's what it was called." He shrugged.

"Oh," I looked down at it again, "I don't know how she wore it. This thing is not fun to be in."

"Well, it looks good on you." Peter sheepishly said as he scratched the back of his head.

I tucked a piece of my hair behind my ear and felt my face grow hot, "Really? Thanks."

Behind me, someone cleared their throat rather loudly.

I whipped around a saw a group of boys clustered together.

"Um, forget we were here Peter?" A boy with a green hat on said, arms crossed.

"Oh," I jumped back a step and almost fell, but Peter caught me and helped me stabilize myself. We made quick eye contact before he walked over to the boys.

As Peter walked over to them, I finally noticed the full scale of the room I was in.

The ceiling was taller than the hallway, and Peter's room. It, too, was made of bizarre tree branch looking things. Candles hung from the branches and acted as spot lights. The floor was covered in something soft. It was squishy under my toes, but looked furry. It was white and some areas of it were brown. To the left I saw a very long table with twelve chairs seated around it. The table itself was scattered with melted candles and piles of treasure. The chair at the very head of the table was throne-like, but also made of tree material. There was a golden crown and a feathered hat resting on top.

To the right was an area with what I assumed to be a couch. It certainly was the shape of a couch, but did not look as comfortable. Sure, it was decorated with soft looking pillows, but it was still made of wood. Next to the couch was a fire pit with an unlit, burned log in the middle.

Also, throughout the room, were more piles of weapons.

A stack of arrows, a bucket of swords, a row of sharp objects that I did not know the name of.
